Folks, what happens if the bill is already generated? For eg. I could see in my biller a SBI Card bill was already generated but since I had auto-pay disabled nothing happened. I tried deleting the biller and re-adding with auto-pay enabled but looks like it's going to scheduled? :/
Anything can be done about this? Or I now have to wait for the entire billing cycle for it to auto-fetch the new bill so it could push it to scheduled. Any idea?

I added my SBI CC after bill generation (added on 6th march, bill generated on 3rd march), and I got "scheduled payment" mail on 7th march with scheduled date as 19th march. But, on morning March 20 the bill was automatically paid through DC. I am waiting for points to reflect now.

Technically, it was after bill generation but not near the end of due date (23rd march) which could be the difference in your case and mine.

Added the credit ard as bil payments in HDFC mobile app bill generated but was not updated in the app payed it anyhow today
Reward points is unchanged
New to this reward payment using platinum card
Am I doing something wrong?

Thread '1% Cashback returns on HDFC Platinum Debit Card'

My experience of getting 1% cashback on HDFC Platinum debit card.

Dec 23 - Opened Savings Max Account and got 'Visa Platinum Debit Card'. Started getting 1% cashback (upto Rs 750) on making payment of ICICI credit card through Bill Pay on HDFC platform. In around 6 months time it stopped automatically.

Nov 24 - Changed the account type to Speciale Gold and also converted to Classic Banking (on request). Placed order for new Platinum Debit Card with hope to get word Classic mentioned it. But again got the same variant 'Visa Platinum Debit Card'. Anyways, again started getting...

This is the link for the first post of this thread bhai. Rest you will understand. Vese manually pay karne se nahi mil rahe hain points. Automatic deduction hona chahiye through smartpay.

What is the merchant name/code that you have got. It would mentioned in the sms and email both.

How to use millinea to pay cc bills, canara setu not accepting mastercard variant of debit card, unipay not accepting other than sbi. Which platform we need to use ?
 
Someone help me. I am unable to turn on smartpay/autopay in the netbanking for Credit card bill payment. So far it looks like that is the only way we can get 1% cashback on HDFC Platinum card.

Not sure where its being missed out.
Is your mobile number registered on HDFC account and the other bank credit card same?

Just delete the other bank CC biller and re-initiate the steps.
  1. Register on HDFC mobile app by clicking 'add biller'.
  2. Select biller type 'Credit Card'.
  3. Enter Biller information - Select bank to which your credit card belongs to.
  4. Enter your mobile number and last 4 digits of the CC number. And give a name to the biller.
  5. At this point it would show 'Enable Smartpay'.
  6. In smartpay amount - select 'Entire Bill Amount'.
  7. In 'pay from' select your HDFC Platinum debit card. Enter Expiry date. Press continue.
  8. Skip the step of 'Would you like to make a payment while we add your biller?'
  9. Accept the T&C and press 'confirm'.
  10. Your registration would happen without OTP/PIN.
  11. An sms would come which have mention of 'HDFC SmartPay via Debit Card XXXX'

Now do these steps and see where it doesnt accept.

    Same here. Haven't received any points for transaction done on 20th. I had received points for transactions done on 18th and 19th before even completing 2 working days after the transaction.

    I think you guys are not aware about cashback credit pattern of HDFC platinum. Wait, don't panic. It usually takes longer after 20th of every month.
     
    So now the crucial thing is to add the card again and setup with 'Enable Smartpay'?
    Is that the only think that is needed to get 1% cashback?
