Biz black approval

Hey guys first post here!
Trying to apply for HDFC biz black metal through my RM, gave him all the details. My revenue is in crores but net ITR is way less than 21L requirement. Also holding ICICI Amazon card with 5L for which I have given him the statement. Cibil is 832.

What do you think are the chances for my approval? Also holding current account with HDFC. I would love to have this card as my genuine business transactions are quite high.

Oh strange! Try physical application with branch, if possible.

With HDFC CCs, physical application route seems to be always better. As sales executive would try to get it through once accepted.

I have to try another branch. As one branch simply said biz black only for self employed

Did you finally got this card, similar experience for me in Bangalore, the dedicated CC guy in the branch flatly refused saying it is for self employed person only.

It seems HDFC has halted floater BizBlack on other premium cards!

Are people receiving BizBlack welcome benefits? We have two in the family. The first card was issued before September and received the benefits upon reaching the milestone through a simple email.


For cards issued after September, the process has changed—you now need to go to the milestone portal to claim milestone benefits, including the welcome benefit. However, there is no option for the welcome benefit on that page.

There is a 5K Taj voucher, on spend of 1.5L in 90 days of card issuance. This is one I was talking about. Now there is no option to avail that.

Anyways have raised complaint. They accepted some issue with portal. Will update once this is resolved.

For cards issued before Sep '24, if you may have meet the requirements (1.5L spend in 90 days), you should have received mails with Club Marriott membership as well as 5K Taj GV. At least that was the case with me, for first card in our family.
