Sbi cashback credit card application process 2025

Hi Team, anyone recently ( in 2025) applied this SBI cashback credit card?

Which platform you have used to application?

What was your overall credit card total limit from other cc cards?

Do we get immediate approval or decline on screen while application?

I have total other cc limits around 24L

Will I be eligible to apply? 🥶

Wait, lunch time is going on.
Its been a week, only 1 verification is done. But for my octane card, it was approved in just 14-15 hrs in August 2024. (Application submit, Vkyc, physical verification, Kolkata and Gurgaon verification all done in just 3hrs and next day early morning card got approved)

what is this kolkata and gurgaon verification? is it mandatory?

I thought that getting sbi cards is so easily even i got it in minutes. But when I saw this thread I came to know that getting sbi card is not so easy as there are certain validation, varification , etc.

Yes, for sbi card minimum 2 call verifications are done.
Kolkata: call can be multiple times, they verify your income document. They can correct your application details, (even can change card type with on call fresh application). It ends with esign with appcode.

Gurgaon: (final verification). Only once, Only if you pass Kolkata verification and physical verification.

Actually all verifications are done by Kolkata centre and physical verification person. Gurgaon person will ask you all your details of application line by line. You have to say the same thing you entered in application.

I applied for my mother last year in November and it took 7-8 days for all verifications and approval and 3-4 days for card delivery after approval. They provided 1.5L limit and she had the highest 63K credit limit at that time.

I applied through YONO yesterday. They redirected to sprint. Sprint asked for BANK A/C details and then approved instantly. 2nd SBI card after Simply Save which was issued last August.

Why don't you apply via cashkaro? At least you are saving the joining fees, isn't it?

I applied through Cashkaro first. But they rejected. So applied using YONO then. On same day. YONO accepted with same info.

When did you got to know that it was rejected? I mean at what step?

I wanted to know if they rejected during initial application submission itself or after the validation

I applied sbi cb card from cashkaro. After 1st call verification and documents uploading with appcode, after 1 week, same lady called me today and told that my photo is not clear (but it was crystal clear). She created a new application with my details without my consent. Application number is different than previous. I denied to comply with her new application.

If I follow the new application will I get ₹1600 from cashkaro which is autotracked and showing pending in cashkaro?

My rewards are auto tracked as well. But, there is no update from SBI. The status is in validation (12 to 24 hours) even though its more 24 hours. SBI being SBI!!

My application got approved without any call from the bank which is really strange given this is SBI which indeed has a lot of verifications. It is mentioned in the sms that my card would reach me in 7 working days. Will they still call for physical verification, etc as I didn't receive any verification call from them asking to upload payslips or bank statements?
