Issuance fee is always charged. It's only Annual fee that wont be charged. For my preferred banking program I was also charged 590 for Millennia last year but no deduction this year. 🙂

Millennia should be completely free (i.e. no Issuance fee or annual fee) for Classic, Preferred or Imperia. I was never charged anything.

I think you re-added the biller within a day or two of bill generation. People have got positive results as the gap is not huge.

If you have received a sms and email that bill is scheduled, then its good sign. Though it should show soon. Wait for a couple of days.

I was asked for details with screenshots. Have provided that today morning.

The bill is not under scheduled till now. Either they do it manually or it wont be eligible this month.
Next month again my bill would be 1 lac +. So not sure if its gonna work. 🤔

yeah, if they do it manually or ask us to do it manually, either ways it is not eligible for the cashback. I better stick with SBI VDC then instead of HDFC billpay. They are asking me to pay in parts with 30k as the limit. I dont understand one thing, if i were to pay it manually, i can pay the entire fees right? why 30k?

Did you applied the debit cards after onboarding preferred banking or before? Last year I applied platinum before onboarding preferred banking program. So I was charged but still rm himself reversed the fees.

If we do payment manually then there is a risk.
But if the backend team rectifies the error and set the bill on auto-mode, then hopefully it should be good.
Lets wait. In my case the backend support is working on it.
Took lot of time for several people to understand the issue.

for me, they are asking to manually in parts of 30k payments. so, its a gone case for me. I started paying it manually. I gave a strong email though questioning if the smartpay feature is useless. What's the point in scheduling the bill when i need to pay it manually.

They are being stupid. Trying to sell their scheme of EMI.
 
I got the below response today. 30k limit is very less actually. So, smarpay will not work if bills are more than 30k?

Dont understand why they are insisting on 30k. Where is this 30k number coming from.

Hope you have set the biller on entire bill amount.

Had spoken to customer care of HDFC. They have no information on any re-confirmation need for any amount or any rule of RBI.

haha. then why are they sending email that this cannot be processed as per RBI limits. Customer care might be clueless. Hopefully if you can get the payment successfully processed using smartpay, that will provide some answers to this.
