Need help in applying Federal Celesta Credit Card

My application for a Federal Bank Celesta credit card was rejected due to a name mismatch in the backend system. A local credit card representative confirmed this after several follow-ups. The nearby bank branch refuses to assist without me opening an account with federal bank which I don't want to. The representative I contacted is unhelpful, and my email to multiple Federal Bank email addresses has gone unanswered.

Can someone help here?

Was the mismatch due to a fault on your end or the banks?

If it's the latter you can escalate via the email chain. Don't stop till they solve it, escalate to RBI BO.

If it's the former, it's probably in your best interest to open an account with them. The branch in federal can get everything done.

I was not getting approved for federal card in forever, but I visited a nearby branch and he told me open an account and he'll get it done. I opened a 5k mab account and he generated my application and uploaded from backend. Instantly approved.

I do not have a second/last name but the online application process mandates the second/last name. So, I wanted to proceed with manually application but I am not able to get a right contact.

I already spoke with the credit card person in the branch and he is not knowledgeable to help here. I am not confident on the branch bank persons that they can solve the problem. I am juggling between customer care to branch to emails but nothing is being helpful.

is there any Federal Bank representative here who can help me? or is there anyone who can connect me to your known POC in federal bank?
