I am seeking advice on managing my credit card portfolio. I have held a Kotak card for five years, and I obtained all other cards in 2023. I am relatively new to credit card usage and value any guidance you can offer.

My portfolio

1. ICICI EMERALDE PRIVATE (paid) - Limit 28 Lakhs (Shared). I use this for most of my purchase including utility bills payment, insurance, BMS BOGO offer, etc.

2. ICICI Apay- 28 Lakhs (Shared)- for Amazon related purchases

3. ICICI Sapphiro (LTF)- 28 lakhs (shared) after I got emeralde, stopped using this card. Just keeping it since LFT.

4. Axis Magnus (Paid but got fee reversal)- 8 Lakhs - Heavily used this card before devaluation. Earned appx. 3.5 Lakh points in a single year. No doubt Axis butchered this card. Now I use it for Eazy Diner offer (40% off upto 1000) and BMS BOGO.

5. HDFC Regalia (LTF) - 3.75 Lakhs (Shared) - use it for Apple and Samsung Offers. Have no idea what grudge does HDFC have with me for not giving higher limit.

6. HDFC Marriot Bonvoy (Paid) - 3.5 Lakhs (Shared)- Only got this for its marriot related perks and 15,000 Marriot points on fee payment.

7. IDFC Wealth (LTF)- 10 Lakhs - Got this card since I was eligible and it was LFT. Rarely use it. Also there are not many IDFC related offers in market.

8. BOB ICAI Rupay (LTF)- 5 Lakhs- Got it because it's Exclusive for Chartered Accountants. Also, my only rupay card for UPI transactions.

9. One card- 5 Lakhs- Got this since it was my first metal card. Only use it gives best offer in Zomato.

10. Yes Bank (LTF) - 4 Lakhs- Worst Card. Have no idea why I got this. IIRC it was my 3rd card. Just keeping it for Yes Bank related offers and LTF. Otherwise crap.

Already have AU Zenith, so not eligible 🥲

zenith provides 0.15% after markup 🙂.

still needed 0% forex, rbl safari.. but As per my maths knowledge 0% < 0.15%. Anyway, its upto you.
Your maths is very correct (Kudos!). I did those calculations myself, but didn't find much use for those AU points. Most of my spends are on DCB, and I mostly book flights through smartbuy. Recharge option is also not needed. Hence the need for a 0 forex card.

Even if you don't find those points any use (which actually provides amzn/fk/movie or bus booking etc. (more than and same options DCB provides) but any case, even if those are not useful to you, atleast you're getting something where 0 forex provide you nothing. If you spend and use this card maybe some time in 2 years (reward validity) this might give you something in return.

IMO, compared to Legend, OneCard, Coral, Indus Rupay, YEs Fin, YEs Rupay, Sapphiro. This Zenith card has better redemption and earning opportunities (when compared by excluding only DCB).

This is my opinion and letting you know the existing options available with you (when better is already available, then 0% seems not good to me). Again, its upto you if still needed that 0 forex card (maybe I don't know the actual issue with your zenith and providing you credit card that provides >0% on forex spends which already available with you).
