To all who have these many cards,
How are you carrying/storing these cards?
Suggestion for a good card wallet/bag to safe store all cards
I recently brought one of these to store all sorts of DC / CC / Membership cards lying around: http://dl.flipkart.com/dl/speny-480...roduct.share.pp&lid=LSTCHDFZ9UGFB7PZ9XH8F5FBG

I’m quite happy with it. Don’t need to move the card to read CVV.

Don’t buy on flipkart though, these things cost INR 60 for 240 card holder and INR 95 for 480 card holder in local stationary shops.

Whare can i get this?

Just using three cards, because they are coming a lot handy for me.

HDFC Moneyback+ Rupay card : For offline or UPI Transactions.
Airtel Axis Mastercard : For all online transactions.
ICICI AmazonPay: Used as a backup card or for high value purchases (mostly keep it at home)

My 3 year journey of CCs:

HDFC Regalia - 8 L - LTF
IDFC First Wealth - 8 L - LTF
RBL Icon - 3.25 L - LTF
ICICI Amazon Pay - 6.1 L - LTF
ICICI Platinum - 6.1 L - LTF
SBI Cashback - 2.5 L - FYF
Axis MyZone - 3.3 L - LTF
Axis Flipkart - 3.3 L - LTF

Applied for SBI SimplyClick for festive offers.

Eyeing for: Infinia/DCB, ICICI Sapphiro, BoB Eterna

My primary banker is HDFC (Imperia account).

Before you read on:
ICICI Platinum - ₹2,50,000
HDFC Millennia - ₹1,00,000
Axis Privilege/Myzone - ₹99,000 (shared limit)

This is my 14-year long but insignificant credit card journey:

Citibank
2010 (this was a time when I was happy paying only minimum due)
Citibank Titanium (forgot fee but waived off option on spends) - ₹37,000 in April. Increased to ₹55,000 in Jan 2011 then ₹83,250 in April 2015.
In 2016, I took a ₹5,21,000 loan on credit card without bothering about interest rate and without a plan to pay it off (big mistake)

ICICI and Kotak
2015
ICICI Coral (ltf with ₹1.25 lakh funding in saving account) in October
Kotak Urbane (ltf with Kotak salary account) in October
Same with these two. I was happy paying off only minimum due
Along with this, took a ₹1 lakh personal loan with Kotak at 19% interest for two years (without a plan to pay it off)

Lost my job, found but kept losing jobs and freelancing opportunities

2017
Found myself with almost 9 lakhs in debt and my cibil score tanking and talking to the Mariana trench. Struggled through jobs until 2018 July.
November - somehow paid off Kotak loan

2018
December - settled and closed Kotak Urbane

2019
January - Paid off ICICI Coral. Wanted to close, but bank convinced me to downgrade to Platinum - ₹55,000 (ltf).
February - went back to my old ways (had no choice. Had to pay off Citibank debt)

2021
March - Paid off ICICI Platinum. From next month, made regular spends and paying off as I had a stable job. I still am in this job as of July 2023.

2022
Axis Neo - ₹99,000 (250 + GST) with Axis salary account

2023
Axis Neo upgraded to Axis Privilege in Feb 2023/2nd card Axis Myzone in Jan 2023 - ₹99,000 (shared limit)
March 2023 - Paid off Citibank cc and loan on cc
May 2023 - HDFC Millennia - ₹1,00,000 (ltf) with HDFC savings account
ICICI Platinum - limit increased to ₹2,50,000 in June 2023

Note: I wrote the journey first and then wrote the limits later. Apologies for this. Could not help it as this is the first time I am reflecting on my credit journey. Cibil score little above 750. Ready to apply for more cards (mostly ltf) so I can make the list longer and improve cibil score.

That's indeed a difficult journey. Glad that you're debt free and holding a stable job. Wish you all the best in your future 😇

My cards so far focused mostly on LTF

ICICI Amazon Pay (LTF) - Using for petrol
ICICI Coral (LTF)
Axis Flipkart (LTF) - Using this for all offline due to 1.5% cashback
Axis My Zone (LTF)
IDFC First Select (LTF)
RBL Zomato (LTF)
HSBC Cashback (LTF)
BoB Premier ( LTF)
Indusind Platinum (LTF)
SBI Cashback (Paid) - Using this for all online

Tried getting below but application was Rejected/Pending

AU LIT (LTF) - Likely bcoz VKYC was done from different location

Axis IOCL (LTF) likely due to back to back applied with My Zone without
cool off period.

Standard Chartered Ultimate (Paid) - Online Rejected just after clicking submit

PNB Rupay Select (Paid) - Application Pending

Onecard (LTF) - KYC Pending
Can you please explain the process of getting HSBC Cashback Card as LTF?
