My portfolio might not be as impressive compared to many of the seniors here but these are some points to consider:

1. I'm a 21 year old student without any income proof.

2. My first CC is only 1.5 years old.

3. I only started trying to get new credit cards since Dec 2021 and all cards in the picture except for ICICI cards are received by me in Jan 2022.

I'm unable to get credit cards apart from any other bank where I don't have an existing relationship.

I think it's because of my employment. I work for a US-based company on a monthly Salary. Though I have a high salary since the company is not registered in India and Indian banks require office addresses within some 80kms of my home location to issue credit cards maybe they think of it as a security when I apply for the card but it most of the time gets rejected.

Is anyone also facing this issue? Any fixes? I recently applied for an SBI BPCL Octane card (any other recommendations are welcome) for fuel purchases and it was declined. My credit history is of 4+ years with a Good credit score. 750+ in CIBIL.

any thoughts as to how to overcome this?

Preapproved cards + LE + C2C + good relationship with banks.

If you are living abroad, why are you still interested in Indian Finance
Just a little curious to know

Cards like Magnus, Reserve and Infinia still offer much better reward rate than cards here.

You can try via C2C if you have a good credit history. The card should be older than 1 year, and you are basically good to go. Most banks match the credit limit of the card you are applying with.
