I recently took a home loan.
Almost all banks and nbfc had a different rate for 825+
750-824 was same

When I was exploring 3 years back, it used to be lower rate for 800+
800 is the new 750. Many people have 800 score these days due to increased awareness. Maybe thats y 825 is the new sweet spot to get discounted loan

As I shared already (more than once), my CIBIL SCORE is usually between 790 and 810. I never ever bothered about it nor impacted by that. I did not take any subscription.

Just to post it here, today, I logged in to CIBIL and found my score as 804 as of 16.09.2025.

Probably, it must have improved even from that 804 level, as I had closed a handful of CCs in the last 15-20 days. As and when I see the latest score, I will share it here.

But how many people have 825+ and how do you get to that level?
Even at 800+ u might get good enough discount on loan interest. What I meant was that u no longer get that special treatment from the bank by just having 800-805 score. Maybe a smile from the branch manager but nothing more. The same loan discount is given at 790-800 scorer. Earlier Cibil used to get refreshed monthly and people didnt bother much about their scores as long as they paid their EMIs timely. Now with Cibil refreshing every 15 days it is easier to reach 800 than before if u pay on time, thats y it is no longer uncommon

not easier for more than a year my score is moving between 760-780. and no payment delay & from last 2 months my credit age is 5 years

Yes mine too. Never goes above 790. But I have only 3 yrs history and too many CC so that might be pulling the scores down. Once the history is 5+ years old and I start reducing the CC numbers then it might cross 800. Right now my avg utilization is 10-15%. If I start prepaying and bring it to negative then also it might bumb up by 20 points

My Cibil History now 6y+1 month still my cibil score does not go above 779

779 is not bad. But if u want to cross 800 then many factors have to be seen: Whats ur total no. Of CC and loans? Ratio of total CC limits+loans to ur annual salary? Any secured loans/FD based CC? Avg utilization?
