I proceeded today to open the icici privilege account, but how do I know if it is privilege. They came to my office and did the procedure & gave me basic savings account debit card and cheque book at that time only , I received an email after 4 hours welcome to savings account, How to verify if it's privilege banking & than how to get the titanium debit card?
Privilege showing on net banking and app but my SB account still on 10 mab and debit card, sms charges debited regularly. Credit limit 2.8l
If you're maintaing 1L or 4L limit on CC, then only privilege works. You can ask for upgrade from branch
For me, It was automatically upgraded to privilege banking after my APay got limit enhancement. (4L+)
I have cards with > 5L limit but the app shows Privilege banking. No Wealth Banking visible

I realised that funding is not needed with this account. The funding is only requested by the sales guys who open the account to meet their targets. He's trying to get me to put 1L and hold it till the end of the month. This is after the account has opened.
