1% Cashback returns on HDFC Platinum Debit Card

Thanks for the reply. I manually had to add the bob card biller again through net banking website and then the biller started to show up with the bill amount. And it also got paid today morning, i.e. one day before the due date. So i think there is might be some glitch because of it biller added through mobile app wasn't showing up.
You are the first here claiming you re added biller and it got paid also in same billing cycle within window of last 4 days before biller due date ?? To me it looks impossible. You paid via DC autopayment?

Maybe your bill was already scheduled just not visible in netbanking. New netbanking is having some issues to display some of our data.

Few things i have noticed

An already added biller before bill is generated usually fails to fetch bills.

A biller added in new app after bill is generated sets up auto pay easily.

Not always true.
I have had new CC billers added after bill generation which moved to scheduled and got auto paid.
Then some billers in my case specially SBI, never move to scheduled and hence never get auto paid. No reason cited.
Some billers who were getting auto paid, suddenly start failing for consecutive months citing nonsense reasons and then suddenly restart getting auto paid without doing anything.
Some billers take more than 7 days to move to scheduled whereas some move to scheduled within 24 hours.
HDFC's auto bill payment system is full of bugs.

I agree with all this. But my mind still not convinced to believe that someone re added biller maybe just that 4 last days window or within that 4 days window, it got scheduled and even got paid before due date?

My smartpay on Axis CC using the Platinum debit card failed on 26th Nov.
Reason: card status/limit (In sms)
Reason: declined due to PBE10002-Invalid Credential. (In mail)

Same happened for ₹5000 scheduled bill on Amazon Pay ICICI CC

Anyone else is facing this or have any work around to fix this?

No.. as i mentioned i have already added the biller before bill generation through app, but it wasn't showing up. Hence i added again. And i even received the message that "biller details modified".

I still have the old Platinum DC and have setup autopay for Axis CC long ago. I recently got DCB which is my primary card now and am trying to add it but cannot seem to find a way to pay via DC. Autopay lists only the account. Is there a way to do it ?

You cannot milk HDFC twice, i.e., pay HDFC CC bill using HDFC DC

This happened with me also, added the biller before but checked 4 days back smart pay was not enabled so activated smart pay and got message next day that bill is scheduled. Due date of bill is on 12th dec and bill pay is scheduled for 8th

Iss mahine toh ho gya, aage bhagwaan jaane kb tk chalega. Twitter pr famous ho gyi hai ye trick bhi along with HDFC rewards DC. Koi na koi impatient insaan ja kr complaint krega aur band krva dega isko bhi. 🥲

Hi everyone my hdfc easyshop platinum (old variant) is about to expire and a new one will be sent soon by hdfc.. I wanted to know if I'll get the same variant where it'll be eligible for 1% cashback through smartpay method or will I get the new one which doesn't offer 1% cashback anymore?

This happens when you try to pay someone else's cc bill with your debit card giving Invalid Credential error
