Now, they have officially confirmed over email that the credit card bill payment over 30k will be declined.

A lot of people have been paying over 30k bills including me.

Hope its not some new rule. Few other people have also informed on this thread that a new biller has some limit for first payment.

My issue is of the email that I received and the link to give permission is not working. It is due to - I created a new biller and amount is also high.

Till now no one in HDFC has been able to provide a reason for this email.
Infact email was forwarded to wrong teams by customer care people. Right now its being looked by back-end support team who took all screen-shots to understand what the concern is.

I'm waiting for the your resolution as well. My next billing on this card will also be around 1L

I guess that was the reason my bill on 7th of around 70k wasn't processed.

We are in the same boat bhai. But HDFC is not trying to resolve your concern of the link not working.
I think whatever the situation is, we cant re-add the biller next month, as again then it would be issue of first bill of high amount.
 
Has anyone.got points with new set of debit cards? i lost my debit card and planning to replace...
You will not get points on the new DC
 
but did you receive any automated email from HDFC that this is not being processed as the amount is greater than RBI limit or something like that?
Nothing, no communications, just in the beginning that the biller is registered and this was the first time this card was going to be paid.

I also have Apay card whose bill of Rs 2136 was generated on 8th April.
Had added this biller under smartpay on 14th April (yesterday). This bill has got scheduled today.
But till now the main biller has not got scheduled. Still waiting for revert from the backend. 😢
 
I have added my cards to HDFC Smartpay on 11th April. Two bills on my Axis cards generated on 13th April, but I can't see them under scheduled payments. Will it be scheduled later or it should have till now? Appreciate anyone's help on this query.
 
The way people are contacting HDFC, this will end soon. Same they did last time when regular payment MCC was changed to RENTALBBPSNO.

Now auto-pay will closed down soon. Keep contacting CC.

I just hope some sense prevails in those users here, who think getting rewards for CC payment is their fundamental right. 🤣
We never mentioned anything about cashback. All we were checking is about their smartpay feature which was not working.

Go and check on YouTube. People are posting videos on YouTube about the same which is very dangerous.

For me, the smartpay feature didn't work with apay icici card.
