290% Credit Limit Increase on Axis Bank Ace Credit Card!

Just wanted to share my recent experience with a credit limit increase on my Axis Bank Ace Credit Card. My limit went up from ₹36,000 to ₹1,40,000, which is a massive 290% increase! 🚀

I had used the SMS method for requesting a limit increase:
📩 CLE <Last 4 digits of your card> to 5676782

I sent this SMS around a week ago and was randomly exploring the Axis Mobile App when I noticed the limit increase offer available for me. Not sure whether it was an automatic increase or if it got triggered due to my SMS request, but it worked!

So, if you’re looking for a credit limit increase on your Axis card, you might want to give this a try! 🔥

I think Axis has been generous to me than HDFC, who have been denying my DCB Upgrade for being 25K short in limit ☠️

I had 25k limit of 3 years, bohot request ke baad last year 1 lakh kiya, uske baad chahe jitna use karlo 1 rs. ka bhi LE nhi de rhe

I don't think so. I have two cards Airtel axis and ace. Airtel for more than a year and ace for few months. And there is a combined limit to both cards.

Does having more than one axis card reduce your chance of getting a limit enhancement..? What is your observation..?

Thank you all for the replies. As @SSV once hinted, at Axis just like ICICI, start and stop technique seems to work. Use the cards regularly, then suddenly stop. That seems to trigger an LE

Hmm maybe

Because Flipkart is my oldest card but still received offer on ACE as I was not using it

I was thinking of closing it but forgot that the renewal month is February.
Now they have levied Renewal Fees.
Is there any way to reverse the fees and close the card??

You can ask for Fees Reversal only on call. But chances are low.


But can threaten them to close ace cc and most probably they will give you 2500 Edge rewards points. I got this a week back.

It doesn't matter. They will try their best to retain you. Call them and tell them that you want to cancel. They will bring all the unnecessary facts to you to retain the card. But don't give in. They will offer you 2500 Edge points. Then enjoy

I didn't even use my neo card for 8-9 months.

Then i called customer care and requested for limit enhancement. Sent my salary slip. And got 4 lakh limit.

After this recently i applied for Airtel Axis. Maybe hardly a month for Airtel card

was there a CIBIL enquiry for limit enhancement through salary slip method?

It doesn't matter. They will try their best to retain you. Call them and tell them that you want to cancel. They will bring all the unnecessary facts to you to retain the card. But don't give in. They will offer you 2500 Edge points. Then enjoy

When you call them for cancellation. They will try to keep you. But if you are determined to cancel the card then they will redirect you to the retention team. They will inform you about some useless benefit. Refuse them and tell them you want to cancel also make sure that the main reason of the cancellation is Fees. They will give you 2500 Edge

was casually browsing the app, clicked on LE and it appeared, no sms/email nothing.
It was a 8 month old neo card, used regularly for zomato/blinkit offers and occasionally for merchant offers.
