3 rooms on Accor Plus Rate

Hi,

As per rules, one can only book 2 rooms under Accor Plus rate. I have to book 3 rooms and Accor app is allowing me to book 3 rooms under Accor Plus rate. I have tried emailing the hotel to confirm but they aren’t replying only. Anyone has experience of this?

@Subhankar any idea?

Thanks

you mean accor plus india or accor global? accor plus doesn’t want to confirm anything, they said it depends on hotel
So get in touch with hotel reservation team. Or when accor said "Only hotel can confirm" then you should have told them to connect me with hotel reservation team or get my question answered from them.

I have emailed hotel reservations multiple times but no reply only.. seeing this behaviour i am anyways not inclined to book this hotel as customer service appears quite poor to not even reply

A few suggestions:
1. Try calling them. They can find a way or suggest with a solution.
2. If not possible, then book 2 rooms at the plus rate and then try booking the 3rd room separately. Do remember to try for a refundable booking if you want the flexibility. Not sure if the Accor Plus discounted rooms give this option.

I am in a similar situation, not even able to book under normal rate in the app for third room. What did you do?

I had booked three rooms in Accor during my trip to Japan this June. I got all three rooms in Accor plus rate. I booked one room first, and then booked the two remaining rooms in a separate booking. I did not contact the hotel or drop any mail to them. You usually do not get any other benefit like complimentary breakfast or in our case, water (Only two small bottles of water is complimentary in Japan, we got it only for one room).
Also, I made the entire payment using Accor points during checkout, if it helps.
Try booking one room first and then the two remaining rooms on a different booking. You can keep the other booking in your name itself.

Interesting. Glad that worked out for you. My concern is if they'll cancel the room later or increase the rate I'll have to scramble at the last moment with family.

I don't think they'll do either of that. Maybe once you make the booking, drop a mail to the hotel reservation team about your plans. Drop another mail maybe a couple of days before your trip. If you receive no negative response/no communication from them, you've done everything in your part. They can't refuse your booking.
