I am thinking about closing my HDFC Tata neu plus credit card. And apply again when they will provide LTF offer

For me, as of now I am continuing both paid Neu Infinity and Swiggy cards.
Total spend required is 2L + 3L = 5L to reach fee waiver.
3 times rejected by greivanceredressal. Not planing to send to PNO now.
Stopped using other cards (mainly Apay and Sapphiro).
Main spends are bill payments, utilities, grocery, and a little online purchase.
I think Neu app is as rewarding as Amazon. (at least 5%) on these categories.
Need to use for a few months to get the hang of it.

What was your first HDFC credit card. I used to believe if you hold a cobranded HDFC Credit card then your chance to get another one is near zero.

Main probelem is Amazon Gift Card balance can be used in many other third party apps (Zomato, Razorpay....) and products on Tata Neu is on average more than those of Amazon.

First hdfc card was swiggy, applied through swiggy app.
After almost 1 year, I got the limit above 1.5L and I applied neu infinity through neu app.
Got both as paid cards. Neu is FYF.
Not exactly gave up on LTF request, just giving a pause. Waiting to see if they devalue neu next year or not.
Yeah 100% agree neu app experience and products are average compared to Amazon. But just keeping the usage minimal now.
Will neu app give any cashback on bill payments is what I need to understand.
As soon as i hit 3L spends, i started requesting. Every month or so, depending on my mood I'll send an email😅. Just got denied for 7th time today
Just throwing multiple things at the wall and see what's sticking.
Those are basic 500rs cards that too gave as festive offer.
Freedom is outdated card, no body likes to apply.
First biz is brand new, may be they want to add more customers to it.
Whatever point is conversion of paid cards into ltf is very hard especially for core cards

My doubt is will banks even consider LTF request for cards that are not even yet one year old?

Let them consider or not, we ask. Only crying baby gets milk.
Not sure about all banks or even other cards. But many had reported converting their tata neu infinity within a year

Yeah I have my infinity converted to ltf in the month of card issuing

I have used more than 1.5 L on Credit Card UPI. So they earned 3500+ MDR + Annual Fees. I think our "begging" is justified. Anyway if they don't make it LTF I am going to cancel it before next Annual fees

So I've written a heart touching mail to PNO as last option. Let's see if they convert it to LTF.
If not, I'll restart my rounds later.
My swiggy cycle is Feb-Feb, so in 3 months, I will reach one year cycle. I think I can reach the 2L spends on swiggy card.
But for neu infinity, the spend cycle is Oct-Oct and I am highly doubtful if I will be able to spend 3L there.
Anyway I just got the card last month and I still have 11 months to see how it goes.
(Basically I don't want to get locked in the neu ecosystem). If LTF, I can spend peacefully without having to achieve the spend targets.
If not, I'll restart my rounds later.
