A Luxurious Leap: My First Super-Premium Credit Card Experience 🌟"

A few things, my friend. I'm in no way trying to bias your opinion or belittle your bliss of obtaining TB...

- Any card which is available to everyone with mediocre rewards or lifestyle benefits can't be called a super premium card. I haven't seen even a single rejection so far and anyone having an account with ICICI or otherwise can get it easily.
Moreover, ICICI itself is keeping EM or EPM above TB.

- It's price (fee) to rewards-benefits is not a mutually rewarding preposition. Not to say that no one would be able to get value out of it but one either needs majority of what it offers naturally or is willing to go out of the way to extract value. But in the endeavor in doing the latter, one should not be pennywise & pound foolish.

- You don't need 30 odd cards OR majority of the cards from @drsel list regardless of your spends unless you are a credit card exonumist for the lack of better word. Count the value and not the cards. It's the value that defines what you hold and not how many.
I feel, one just needs 2-3 good cards that give the max. value in your universe. Just for eg. - my pack of best 3 could be - Infinia, BizBlack, & Amex Plat. charge (a solid card with no non-sense memberships, rewards & benefits) that would cover my regular spends, taxes & govt spends, travel & lifestyle.

Just my personal views
> Amex Plat. charge

Oh the irony of that post

That's why I also expressed my concerns about this. It's true that if you already have an ICICI Bank credit card and have joined the waitlist, you will get this card very easily. But over time, I feel that the card, which is relatively easy to obtain now, will become much harder to get in the future.

We need to understand that whenever a bank launches a new product, they aim to sell it as quickly as possible. Initially, some people will receive the card easily to build its popularity, so that others will also want to apply later. If, at the start, the card is very difficult to get—especially when all its benefits haven’t even been revealed yet—then no one would want it in the future, and the card would completely fail in the market.

Anyway, this is just my personal opinion.

I agree with you on this point. However, in my opinion, it would be premature to form any conclusions about this card until all its benefits are fully unveiled—which should happen soon—and we’ve had the chance to use it for at least 6 months.

Yes, you’re right, but the three cards you mentioned are not easily accessible to most people. I understand that having such luxury cards means you don’t usually need other cards. But the real question is—how do you even get them?

This card was easy to get, which is why I decided to try it out for just a year. I’ll only keep it for the long term if they offer me a lifetime free.

One thing most people are overlooking is the private banking benefits that come with this card. Because of these benefits, you can get several ICICI Bank cards for free for life, along with additional advantages on loans and services.

I consider all of this when deciding whether the ₹23,000 joining fee is worth it. I’m planning to post a detailed write-up soon about this card and its private banking benefits, addressing all the confusion. I’ve been thoroughly researching both aspects, and I hope my post will change people’s perspective on this card.

This is my view point.
True, there was a time infinia was free and you could get it easily

Those factors don't define the value

tbh

tbh not a big difference in private banking and normal wealth management xD what i feel only dc have more lounge and on visa infinite platform nothing else rest loans and all not a big diff... even no free locker i guess in private also only discounted rates ... so acc variant type nothing much to offer than a wealth management variant

A Super-Premium Delight! 🌟 {ICICI bank Times Black Credit Card first impression}

I recently received my first-ever super-premium credit card, and I couldn't be more excited! 😍 This card holds a special place as it’s not just my 30th credit card, but also my first in the super-premium category.

Although the delivery was delayed by a day due to rain 🌧️, the wait was worth it. The moment I unboxed it, the premium packaging set the tone, making it clear that this wasn’t just another card—it was an experience!

Design & Build Quality

The design is stunning and exudes luxury. 💳 The card feels premium in every way—heavier than standard plastic cards yet slightly lighter than other metal cards, striking the perfect balance. Holding it gives you that exclusive, top-tier feeling. 👌

Added Benefits

What sets this card apart is the Priority Pass included with it—a big thumbs-up for frequent travelers! ✈️ Another highlight is the private banking status that comes bundled with the card, adding a unique charm to the overall experience.

Credit Limit Sharing

Interestingly, the credit limit is shared with my other ICICI Bank cards, which is perfectly fine for me. However, I noticed the cash limit is set to zero. While I rarely use cash withdrawals on credit cards, this was something new for me. 🤔

My Take

Overall, this card is a game-changer for me. It combines luxury, practicality, and exclusivity in one package. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to step into the world of super-premium credit cards. 🎉

Here’s to exploring all the incredible benefits and perks this card has to offer! 🌟 I’ve also attached some pictures of this credit card so you can see for yourself how amazing it looks and get an idea of its premium benefits. 💳✨
