ABOUT THE APPLICATION OF SBI VISTARA CARD PRIME

My Sister currently has three SBI cards(sbi cashback, irctc, simply save ) and the bank allows only three cards per customer. she wants to apply for an SBI Vistara Prime card, but customer care told her that she needs to close one of its existing cards to be able to apply for the new one. Is this correct? And if so, what should be the duration of applying for a close SBI card and applying for a new one?" apart from this if she applies for the sbi Vistara prime card and when sbi pull cibil report on that time will it be rejected or approved what will be the probability of approval or it will be on hold as old sbi simply save card status still active in the report.

SBI allows only 3 cards. Once you close existing any card, apply for new one after 3 months of card closed. Approval depends on your income documents, eligibility validation for the new card and cibil report.
