Advantage of HDFC RuPay Regalia credit card for Airport lounge access -

HDFC bank Regalia credit card lounge list was reduced recently but if you have HDFC bank RuPay Regalia credit card then you can access RuPay lounge access, list here - https://www.rupay.co.in/lounges

Also note - HDFC bank Regalia Visa/mastercard credit card offer Priority Pass for International lounge access but RuPay variant Regalia credit card offer all International Airport lounge access offer by Diners club International, list here - https://www.rupay.co.in/lounges

RuPay Regalia, Domestic airport lounge access - Rs.2 will be charged to the card account as a transaction for verification.

RuPay Regalia, International airport lounge access - Customers will be charged a transaction fee of $3.25 on their Credit card towards complimentary lounge access, same shall be reversed (I recommended you can also confirm this International airport lounge access info with HDFC bank before use).

Really great info. I'm going to convert my regalia to rupay. So the lounge network of rupay and diners is exactly the same in India and abroad and don't need to carry priority pass too. Also didn't know even rupay platinum debit cards have lounge access outside india

I had read somewhere in this community that Rupay variant of HDFC Regalia doesn't come with priority pass.

Bro even the basic rupay platinum debit card has complimentary international lounge access outside india. No need of getting high end credit cards with priority pass just to have international lounge access

@Abhishek012 have you used rupay card for complimentary international lounge access outside india. Do they revert the lounge access fee next month automatically?
Most Banks disabled international lounge access for RuPay platinum debit cards.

Banks also charged full amount for international lounge access using RuPay platinum debit cards and you will get full refund after 6 to 8 months, also no guarantee for refund.

Only HDFC Tata Neu RuPay Infinity Credit card t&c, i found "Customers will be charged a transaction fee of $3.25 on their Credit card towards complimentary lounge access, same shall be reversed." - https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/credit-cards/tata-neu-infinity-hdfc-bank-credit-card

I guess same t&c for Regalia variant too, HDFC bank Regalia page is outdated, you can contact customer support team to verify this info. Regalia also offer 6 International Complimentary Lounge Access per calendar year.

3 questions:
1) visa regalia provides 12 international lounge access. is the number same of rupay variant?
2) how to apply for rupay regalia without first getting visa and then contacting customer care to change it?
3) no separate card required for rupay regalia, and the cc itself works at international lounges?

1) Well, most of the time banks decide how many lounge access you get. Only HDFC customer support can answer your query.
2) send a mail to - customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com
priorityredressal.creditcards@hdfcbank.com
grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com

for Visa/master Regalia to RuPay Regalia conversion.

3) Yes, cc itself works at international lounges.

Why do you want RuPay Monopoly it's always not good in any industry....
RuPay credit card issuing market share is only 1%, Monopoly kiska hai batao ? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

RuPay debit card transaction market share is only 30%, recently, i heard down to 26%.

Also, In the United States, credit card companies from other countries are not allowed to enter the US market.

Yes, i totally agree with you Monopoly is not good in any industry but all companies should be Indian.

Like RuPay card, we need more RuPay like other Indian credit card companies is India.

USA have total 7 or 8 credit cards companies (all are American companies), Brazil have 2 or 3 (all are Brazilian companies), Singapore like small country have 2 card companies (both are singapore's own companies). South Korea have total 8 to 10 credit card companies (all are Korean companies). Uzbekistan also have 2 credit card companies (both are Uzbekistan's own companies).

If we talk about now, then total 99% Indian credit card market share hold by all American companies. This is not a good thing for big countries like India.

Impossible. 90% of RuPay card users never use it for any financial transactions.

50% RuPay debit card expires after 5 years without being activated.
Whenever I see I only see RuPay debit cards around me over 70% for sure because previously banks around here were promoted RuPay cards with campaigns with their benefits like insurance (now removed from classic cards 😐) I don't remember still available in Platinum debit cards or not that's not only if a person applies any cards in my local area branches they were issued by default RuPay cards in my friends circle more than 90% of my friends only have rupay cards only, why you are saying rupay is not growing?
