Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card Glitch

I already have axis bank other 2 credit cards, it is showing the banner page of airtel axis credit card in my Airtel app signed up with the registered number of Axis Bank. But when I am applying it is showing "thank you for your interest". Even Airtel is also sending me invitation to apply the card. I also have DTH connection of Airtel with this number. Anyone has any idea that what kind of gleach is it?

You can apply with other number. I have same issue but applied with another number and just after receiving the card, updated the mobile number to desired number.

I changed my number registered with axis, to the number from which I was able to apply. Now that number became ineligible 😂😂

There's a glitch in the app, it sends notification even if you are not eligible for the card.

You'll get this error if you apply from any other number. Also keep note that if your application is processed from any other no(because sometimes your application might get accepted with other no.) Axis will change the registered mobile no. of all the other axis card you currently own to the no. from whcih you applied airtel axis and got approved.

I applied for the card with my Airtel Number then it got approved, even though i got Airtel payments bank account(but Jio Number) they rejected. As of now they're allowing only airtel sim customers. So apply with airtel number using your own credentials then after getting the card change the number in axis app

I received the card today and successful activated net banking.
I didn't get option to update mobile number in axis net banking so I installed Axis Bank app and tried to update mobile number.
I got success but still unable to use Axis Mobile app with my mobile number (I don't have axis saving account).
Even the OTP is also going to father's mobile number.

What to do ?

I have successfully updated my mobile number in Axis Bank and can use axis bank mobile app. I am receiving OTP on my mobile number.

Axis is doing this purposefully by some means. Nobody knows the criteria for getting it. Probably if you are trying for first Axis credit card as Airtel card, you may get it if basic eligibility criteria is met.
