How to Maximize Your Rewards

  1. Utilize the Airtel Thanks App: Make all your Airtel payments and utility bill payments through the app to earn higher cashback.
  2. Plan Dining and Grocery Spends: Use the card on Zomato, Swiggy, and BigBasket to get 10% cashback.
  3. Don't Aim for Annual Fee Waiver: Pay annual fee to get higher %, know when to stop using card.

Note: Above calculations assumed only if one spends on mentioned categories fully every month for whole year. which is a rare scenario, so consider your spends and calculate 50%-80% reward rate based on that.

Realistic Return %

Example Scenario:
  • Airtel Plan Costs:
    • 2GB/day for 365 days: â‚ą3599
    • 2GB/day for 28 days: â‚ą349

  • With Airtel Axis Credit Card (25% Discount):
    • 28-day cost: â‚ą262
    • Annual cost: â‚ą3141 (assuming no price changes).
Effective Savings:
Using the Airtel Axis card via the Airtel app gives an effective discount of 12% on Airtel recharges annually.

If we consider that value, then spend on 12% Airtel Payments + 10% Utilities + 10% Preferred App = 9.65%
or spent whole 2 Lacs = 5.71%

// Best card for up-to 2L annual spends (when fully utilized airtel bills, utility and preferred partner app benefits)

Ok.
Just to be clear, paying Bigbasket bill with BB wallet gives 10%?
Loading bb wallet through Airtel Axis does till monthly cashback limit. Do make note of merchant name though. If it’s innovate retail concepts Pvt Ltd then chances of getting one is more. Try it out with a small denomination first. Usually this method is my last choice for BB

Ok.
Assuming we get Innovative retail merchant,
Step 1: load BB wallet using Airtel cc
Step 2: place BB order thru Neu app and pay with above BB wallet balance.
Correct?

It does not show any discount on apay gift cards.

if its there it will be otherwise not, like you see offer on uber in this link same way. but discount on apay, amzn shopping, fk are almost nil these days in axis grabdeal portal. you can shop to get 1% to 2% but gift vouchers not applicable, that is pure shopping.

Hey I just got the card and need a little help to avail maximum discount.

I have Airtel Wi-Fi I used to recharge it for 6 months which cost me around 5232â‚ą ( 100Mbps 799â‚ą wala )

The discount on the card is 25% for Airtel WiFi/ recharge which is capped at 250â‚ą per month

So is it correct if I switch my plan to a monthly basis which cost me around 799â‚ą + 144â‚ą Tax = 943â‚ą
( 25% of 799 will come to around 200â‚ą Cashback)
Costing me = 744â‚ą per month

Or if there is any other idea to get maximum discount.

If you're going to use this card, either Airtel Wifi or Airte Prepaid should be monthly basis to avail the maximum discount. But prepaid or wifi usually have better offers if went for 6 months or 12 months plans.

Assuming based on your calculation:

6 months can cost you â‚ą5657 (including GST) but usually you'll get atleast 15 days to 30 days free bonus if negotiated during renewal, thats how longer term plans works.

on monthly basis per month its â‚ą943 and card provides 25% discount on total billed amount = â‚ą235.75
total you'll pay in 6 months = â‚ą4243

So, you'll save â‚ą1413..

But as mentioned, if they offer you extra 1 month free internet on subscribing 6 months pack then you'll save with monthly and 25% discount = â‚ą606 //based on your negotiation with customer support.

In both cases, Airtel Axis card help you save some money instead longer plans.

I thought they provided CB on plan price only and not the total bill, thanks for the clarification.

Also, how can I negotiate to get an extra 1 month ? by calling them or is there any other way

I tried but didn't get 5 percent neu coins

tatanue -> categories-> bigbasket or bb now

order and pay as usual. get 5% nuecoins once order delivered, you'll get email also.

note: nue coins only eligible amount.
