Due to such issues people don't take axis cards. (Trust issues and torture of smooth and hazel free)

But who knows mcc code plays a role and it's going through different mcc redirect which is done by bigbasket

How many times can we purchase over 2500? Sometimes, infact most of the times order value less than 1000 for most of them.

2500 for single order not an easy solution, even with proper planning it needs unnecessary stretch, IMO.

I order like 2 to 3 times month of about 2000 to 2500 depending on offers. Plus about 8 to 10 times for about Rs 500. For rs 500 orders, i was hoping to use axis airtel and HSBC live+. If axis airtel becomes problem, will need to be dependent on HSBC live+ only. 😒

Airtel axis should not be really mcc dependent for bigbasket and swiggy, right? It should be based on merchant id. As it is specific to three merchants - Bigbasket, swiggy and Zomato.

There are somethings in life you have to accept.

I have Airtel but I would never use it on big basket.
because I always get 20% discount so I would not be interested in anything less than 20% discount

It is 2 lakhs average balance but they don't really enforce it

This is fine and is always marked for me the same way. However it calculates 10% cashback anyway.
