Airtel-Axis credit card Bill Payment

I got my card on 27th Sep and paid my electricity bill on 29th. The bill is yet to be reflected in my electricity account. Called Axis Bank CC and they told me that amount has already been transferred. When I called Airtel (payments back CC), they said they dont have any information about the transaction (although the transaction shows in my app). Neither can they see it in my account nor with the help of transaction ID that I received in the message. I have mailed them too but got same response. Unlike Amazon which send an email for a processing/successful/failed transaction, Airtel send none. I also did a recharge which was successful but it shows nowhere in my transactions. I wonder if that had failed, I would have had no proof of the same.
 
Hi, your Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd. (KSEBL) payment for (consumer id) with Rs.xxx initiated on 06-09-2022 is successful. Your transaction ID is 5209061709xxxxx.

Did you receive a similar message from airtel ALAIRBNK. If yes then the amount will be reflected. If instead of successful, if it shows under process then most likely your payment would have failed.

In the card's T&C it mentions 10 percent on utility payment such as electricity, gas etc. So will we get 10 percent on all the items (such as 3rd party broadband bill etc) classified under utility in airtel thanks app subject to the ceiling?

Yes It is counted on 10% as well as but if you pay from above page section you don't get any confirmation from airtel your bill paid or not & your transaction was stuck between Airtel
Please Follow which steps i mentioned and you will definitely get your confirmation message as well as payment done to your merchant
* Note : i never tried 3rd party broadband bill payment but if you see your biller than try once and share your experiences
as per my experience you will get 10% cashback
* Never try to paid your Utility Payment from above page section you shared, your payment always stuck some where and Airtel Never help out & from Axis side they 100% clear

Always Remember when you paid your utility bill it is compulsory to get " APBLUTIL " on payment page or otp msg

Definitely will give it a try. However even while going through bbps for electricity payment, it is taking me to the same page which would appear when i go directly through the utilities page. Also personally, I have never found a miscalculation for my cashback. Anyhow will try the broadband payment next month and will let you know. 😄

No, I didnt get success message, rather I got the message that the payment is in process. In fact Twice I have made the payement. The first time merchant page showed - APBLUTIL and after transaction I got a similar message as yours with my electricity company name and consumer ID, only that it showed " Bill payment in Process".
Yesterday I tried again and this time the merchant page showed - AIRTEL and after transaction I got a different message. I have attached the image.
My Gas cylinder too was done using AIRTEL merchant and it was successful.

Actually I have a prepaid meter, so wont be charged any penalty except for the fact that my money is stuck. Ofc I want to use pay bill using APBLUTIL merchant, but right now twice I have paid electricity bill and have got both APBLUTIL as well as AIRTEL merchant, both of those payments have not been reflected in my electricity account. Airtel guys dont have any idea, Axis says payment is done. Will I get a refund automatically or do I need to mail/call someone else ?

When you login to the axis bank mobile app, is the amount present in the unbilled area?

Yes. I did two electrivity bill payment. 1st on 29th Sep - APBLUTIL Merchant, 2nd on 1st Oct - AIRTEL Merchant. Both occasion money debit, no response from Airtel except from one message saying rechage processed. No subsequent message for success/failure.
I was getting restless, paid my bill again using the method told by @Sachin Jamdar and got APBLUTIL merchant, also the amount was credited within 5 minutes in my electricity account.
 
Now when I have done the payment and it's stuck. Will I get the refund or not ? Will make sure I use your prescribed method from next time onwards, but what about the transaction thats already done.
if the transactions already done then please wait 5 - 6 working days( 6 oct ) it will be credited if you not credited then rasied to dispute those transactions to Axis then you will get refund as well as temporary limit for those transactions because whenever i rasied the dispute next day showing those transactions refunded and after 3 - 4 days also got temporary limit because of this shit my limit was use like hell it is used 90% and i use actually only 10 - 20 per
as per my experience stop your most of transaction on Airtel Card until your credit limit not get stable only necessary transaction done through that card

29 th sep -- around 6 oct & 1st oct -- around 7 oct
on above date you get your refund hope possibly if you not please raised dispute for those transactions

please click only on Postpaid or Landline i already mentioned.
but in your case you get your Cashback then it is great ✌️🥳, use your old method it is ohk no issue & i am still confusing how your payment worked and paid your utility bill as well as get Cashback also 🤔😅
because lost of card holder facing the utility cashback blunder

Not to Worry you get your refund it is earlier or late you get it but it is your responsibility track those transactions until you not get refund
Yes Because of this shitty lots of card holder cannot you this card properly
It is the best card for cashback for utility bill payment if you don't get ACE at some point
you can't beat ACE On Utility but they not provided easily right now

Can you confirm you get normal text msg from Airtel also ?

Yes, When I tried using your method, I got following text message. - 1st messgae was that "transaction is processed", few minutes later another message saying "transaction is successful" and then I got the money in my electricity account. Also when I paid bill, a small page opened with all transaction detail of which I took the screenshot
