Introduction

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is set to launch RuPay credit cards with all major banks in the coming years. RuPay currently offers three main credit card variants:
  1. RuPay Classic (Basic/Standard)
  2. RuPay Platinum (Premium) // includes SwiggyOne, Spa, Gift Cards, and more.
  3. RuPay Select (Super Premium)
There are also two sub-types under RuPay Select:
  1. RuPay Select
  2. RuPay Select Wellness (includes Gym, Spa, Golf programs, and more).
Key Features of RuPay Credit Cards
  • International Acceptance: Supported by Discover Financial Services, Diners Club International, Pulse, and JCB.
  • Free Benefits: Lounge access, wellness perks, and e-commerce offers.
  • Bank Offers: RuPay cards are eligible for the same offers as Visa/Mastercard (e.g., 10% discounts on Amazon, Flipkart).
  • No Discrimination Between Networks: If your Visa/Mastercard is lifetime free, the RuPay equivalent will also be lifetime free.

  1. RuPay cards are on par with Visa/Mastercard in terms of offers and features.
  2. Newly launched RuPay cards might not immediately qualify for e-commerce offers—contact the bank for updates (Everything starts working perfectly after a few months).
  3. RuPay's partnerships ensure seamless international acceptance.

Apply For LTF AU LIT Credit Card
Ok so i raised with to get a rupay version of premier card. But they replied that they accept my upgrade request.

We have received your request for up-gradation of current card & we would like to inform you that your request is under process.

Done that. I also told him that if there are charges in his final settlement, I will come back and pay the rest. Btw, Rbi has said that dookandars cannot charge swipe charges from customers as this charge is considered as operating cost. Not only that, for UPI payments, he wont allow less than Rs 100/-

I have no relation with PNB. But the branch is very nearby. I enquired at branch for CC. Staff said to apply via PNB app. I installed app. Tried to apply card. It says, download and print application form. Fill it attach documents and go to branch.

Though it may be chargeable. But if you use card once is 3 month. There will be no fees applied

While applying for Credit Card from their app, it is asked to enter amount. I'm not sure if this is the indicative credit limit customer wants or this would block some amount from the savings account for security (leading to secured card). Hence, dropped the idea.

When I tried. I got call from application team. But they are not provide C2C. So as of now even I postponed the plan

I tried that once, while I was holding an account with them. The application was never submitted. So, I stopped applying. Later I closed account, but now , I got other RuPay cards
