Axis Magnus is currently leader of credit cards in India. But we know soon it is going to be devalued. May be axis decides to discontinue it. Axis Magnus is such a card that covers all types of users. Those who travel a lot, pay utility bills, do shopping, etc. It is kind of all in one card at the moment. Even if fees of this card is 10K plus taxes but we still get something in return. Reward rate we all know cannot be matched by any other credit card. Another good thing is it gets easily approved comparatively. Credit cards like infinia are difficult to get and nothing much in return for fees.

What you guys think is the next bank credit card available in India like Magnus which is best for all types of users and easily available?

I think we should continue using Magnus. Probably they want to exclude holders which keep spending for the sake of points by using the card even for non personal use. By finding out genuine users, they may give more benefits.

I agree.. Just hoping there would be targeted spends once in a while like Amex and HDFC does to earn bonus ERs.

Will direct flight website like Etihad,Singapore, etc charge markup?
Yes. I recently booked a ticket via Etihad. It got rejected first due to international transactions were disabled. It went thru after enabling it though amount was in INR only.
I haven't got statement yet but I am sure there will be DCC markup charge which should be 1% I guess.

any idea how they decide whether to use forex charge of 3.5% or dynamic ? (3.5% for atlas, 2% for magnus)

If payment currency is INR but company is registered out of India, DCC will apply. Same was the case with Etihad for me. The amount was paid in INR.

If payment currency is other than INR, then Foreign currency markup will apply which is 3.5% for Atlas and 2% for magnus.
