Axis Magnus Alternative in case of Axis Magnus devaluation or discontinuation

Axis Magnus is currently leader of credit cards in India. But we know soon it is going to be devalued. May be axis decides to discontinue it. Axis Magnus is such a card that covers all types of users. Those who travel a lot, pay utility bills, do shopping, etc. It is kind of all in one card at the moment. Even if fees of this card is 10K plus taxes but we still get something in return. Reward rate we all know cannot be matched by any other credit card. Another good thing is it gets easily approved comparatively. Credit cards like infinia are difficult to get and nothing much in return for fees.

What you guys think is the next bank credit card available in India like Magnus which is best for all types of users and easily available?

thats fine, i am just concerned about the previously generated points and its transfer value ... i am not planning to earn more points in the future, have moved all my spends to infinia ...

If government spends like advance tax, TDS, etc are excluded from Magnus milestones, then it becomes a dead card for me. Infinia will always be the King, remember that. I'll need to get some other card for government spends. Infinia, DCB, and now maybe Magnus will exclude government spends. Last I remember, I got rewards in my Indusind Legend card for government spends. Might look into SC Ultimate card now.

Indusind Pinnacle CC gives RPs on Govt transactions in value of 0.70 RP for Rs. 100 spend. Albeit, less than 2.5 / 100 on online spends.

Does Axis Atlas give 5x RP for makemytrip, Intermiles and Yatra?

The reason why I ask is because they say direct airlines & hotel site booking but surely even these will have the same MCC as makemytrip, Intermiles and Yatra.

No. 5/100 not applicable in this case. only direct bookings. don't think mcc will be same

For Axis Atlas i will give u the hack, use Travel Edge or Actual Airline website for all flight bookings, for hotel use club vistara site https://hotels.airvistara.com/ as the MCC code of vistara goes in this case.

Current scenario -

HDFC - Stuck with Diners Millenia. I hold a dormant HDFC account.
Amex - Platinum travel + MRCC. Low usage due to non acceptance.
SBI - Vistara Prime - good only till milestones are hit.
Axis - Vistara infinite & Magnus

I already have Axis Vistara infinite and Magnus. Unable to add another card through online application. LMK is there's any workaround here.

I am mostly looking for milestone based credit cards. I feel due to the nature of my spends, milestone credit cards will offer the best value.

Please suggest best strategies post Magnus world to maximize utilization. Much thanks!

Atlas only good for travel spends.

It gives 4% air miles and there are milestone points too. Overall it can be more than 5% airmiles depending on milestones achieved.

No. Atlas does not provide 5 miles per 100 on aggregator sites. Only on direct hotel & airlines. You will need to compare between TE & other sites but TE is little expensive sometimes

Im currently having Magnus.. If I spend 10k on Travel edge:
5x will give 3000ER=1200miles from Sep

Atlas - 500 Edge Miles= 1000 partner miles

Is Atlas only worth when paying directly on airlines/ at hotels?
