Just got off another business flight from LHR, booked the same way. Even though most of us will not come across these points very easily now, it leaves a sweet taste in the mouth to have had a chance to kind of win against the system by traveling such long distances in such comfort for relatively cheap. Taxes this time were a good amount. Though nothing compared to the price of an actual return business class ticket I would have paid for normally. Will miss you Magnus

For star alliance awards, check availability in lifemiles or Aeroplan before calling turkish.
There is, you have to go to book star alliance flights from your profile in website.

Turkish miles program has been devalued. Condolences to those who have parked their rewards in Turkish. The devaluation goes live from 16th Feb, So 8 days for anyone who still wants to book at current rate.

Did some comparison.
India to Europe Economy/Business is 35K/60K from 19K/30K. Krisflyer is 30.5K/61.5K.
India Domestic Economy/Business is 10K/15K from 7.5K/12.5K. Krisflyer is 12.5K/29K.
Overall, I don't see much point in Turkish now. Domestic 10K/15K is too much. Revenue booking would be cheaper. Europe economy is cheaper with Krisflyer with lesser inconvenience in booking. Europe Business is 1500 cheaper with Turkish but also comes with slight inconvenience.
I guess finally my krisflyer points will get some use on my next trip, now that Turkish is gone.

10K/15K for connecting AI itineraries is still fine I guess.
In fact 15K for biz direct is also a steal.
Except the booking pain.
Business class for 2-3 hrs is waste. I will prefer 7-8K economy cash booking (via points from hdfc or yes bank) over these.
