Amex Application help

Hi guys! I applied for an Amex Platinum travel card on 21st of October. I already have a mrcc for about 2 months now. The vkyc was auto completed. But I keep receiving this email saying that they will reach out to me soon everyday but no one reaches out. It's been over a week now. On contacting customer support they say the application is in progress and they ask me to wait. ( My First MRCC was approved within 48 hours.) Attaching SS. Any help would be appreciated.

In normal course, your application would have been approved within 24 to 48 hours..
It seems your application went to a different process. Please wait as of now, nothing to alarm about.
Recently one of referrals application was also delayed by 2 days than normal but eventually was approved.
It seems they may be taking a bit longer time to process these days.. lets wait

@SSV Bro, I stay in Bangalore but my permanent address in aadhar is not in a serviceable area. I read somewhere that amex rejects if address in ID proof is not in a serviceable area. Is this true ?

Yes its true. You can change your address in aadhaar using rent agreement and then once you get the card, you can change it back to your home address
This is the ONLY way.

You can be anywhere but the docs you submit need to match the AmEx approval criteria, that is the city/pincode has to be under serviceable region.

This can be easily achieved by updating any of your address proofs(Aadhar preferred) to your local address.
Process is pretty simple, you can DM me if you need any help with it! 🙂

Recently I have applied for MRCC. During the VKYC, the executive informed that the driving licence, Passport and AADHAR are acceptable

No, I have some spends scheduled for Diwali with new card, I had sent an email stating to consider/let me know if this takes time so that I can plan with another card, received an email by evening that application is approved and processing for delivery
