I already submitted an application for the new AMEX credit card. The application number is generated. What is next procedure?

Honestly, it's tempting to get it right away. I spoke with executives and I know I'll get it if I apply, but currently I'm waiting for referrals to start ... So November it is!

I applied 3 Cards
1.SBI CB - 30/12/22
2.BOB Eterna - 03/01/23
3.AMEX MRCC- 16/01/23

All of them got Approved today .

I did the vkyc…. They didn’t asked me to upload income documents.. does it mean approved without income documents?

So just got an approval email. Took about 4 days from VKYC to the approval email. Says will take 3-7 days to deliver the card. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Some applications don't require submission of income docs. Wait for 2 working days, you will get an email from Amex and your card will be dispatched the very same day or the next day.

Day 2 Card approved 4:45pm
Day 4 shipped

You need to calm down! It’s been just 9 hours post KYC. It takes 2 working days for AMEX to verify your KYC & then approve or reject it. Wait for their email. You should get it by Tuesday.
