Please dm me details

I am also from Gwalior. I changed my address to Bhopal by Online adhaar website and after that i got Amex cc.
I live in a rented apartment in Pune. I uploaded my adhaar with current Pune address. To my surprise they called to upload another document showing the same address. Fortunately my recently renewed passport also has the same address so I uploaded that otherwise it might have been an issue. Each time they call and request for an ID, it pushed my application further by 24 hours. I would have loved if they had adhaar based checking like most of the Indian CC companies do using otp to fetch data.

Certainly, but isn't spending the sole purpose of having a credit card? The more you spend, the more rewarding it becomes.
But spending 15k + 4130 = 19130 for 10k points? Reward ratio of that would be 0.5% assuming marriott transfer? and if miles transfer then that is 0.25% or even less?

Sure it can be optimized to use reward multiplier + you'll get some base MRs for 15k spend too but I find that value proposition a bit too much.

I applied for Amex Plat Travel card via referral today and it got rejected due to internal reasons even though I meet all eligibility criteria mentioned in the website. Is there a work around for this issue that I can try to get it through ?

Bro
Why are you counting 15k for points ??
you should never just spend only to get points .
Only take if you have some genuine spends worth 15k in next 90 days .

You will get 10k points for 4130 joining fees , and 15k should not just be for the welcome criteria .

Manufacturing spends for points is not a good idea , but can always club it like as an example say my average electricity bill for a month is 5k , and I pay that using Amazon pay , so I can simply club that for next 3 months and buy a Apay voucher of 15k . Something like that you can try .

your original premise was 10k points if you pay the fees of 4k. I said that it also requires a spend of 15k in addition the fees for those points to post.

So if you want the 10k points on plat travel, you are forced to spend 19k effectively.

Compared to the referral, where the card is free and you may/may not spend 5k for the additional referral bonus.

so compare to referral, taking a fee-based platinum travel is not a rewarding ratio.

Unfortunately my application through referral was rejected despite fulfilling all criteria.
