AMEX PLATINUM TRAVEL CARD BEST WAYS TO SPEND

Can anyone tell me what is the best way to spend on AMEX platinum travel credit card to reach the milestone of 4 Lakhs per annum ?
The reason i'm asking is AMEX card is not allowed in most of the online websites...

How does add on helps. Like primary card can be used everywhere. Even if I am not there my wife can use my card.

The only benefit is that if the other person can use this to spend in case of emergency. One of my friends added a Supplimentary card for his sister who just started college. So, stuff like that.
In your situation, maybe a separate card might be better now I think.

Supplementary card spends are counted under main card only. If you have reached 4L on main card then this will not help.

Get a new card in her name (on her PAN) using your referral link if you plan to spend 4L again till your main card anniversary year ending

Hi everyone, while going through this thread and few others I've concluded that rent payment through mobikwik is no more an option as it doesn't support amex cards now. So is there any other option to pay rent via amex?

It was all for flights and I have no idea why Amex charges 1.8%(+GST) on flights and IRCTC booking when the card is for travel.

Since, you brought the education keyword here. I wanted to let the folks know that yesterday I defended my PhD thesis and now I am a Dr. 🙂

My caveats: I don't have any education or rent payments, also all my GVs are prioritised on Smartbuy first. Everywhere else I've been trying to use Amex and still very likely going to miss the target, and I am a heavy spender.

About 8 months ago, when I got the card...
I loaded into my Mobikwik and paid my rents, and all other major expenses thru MK Wallet ...
Case closed !!

Yeah, so rent is the difference. Otherwise Infinia + SB is more rewarding for utilities, and there's no way I would compromise there for chasing milestones. If this pattern continues and no good retention, I might have to think hard about retaining Plat Travel next year.

4L is a very strategic choice of target. If only their offline acceptance were better, I would be easily sailing through.
