For AGV, MRCC would be better as you get dual milestones of 6k and 20k which each earn you 1000 MR points per month. Gold Charge only has one milestone of 6k. It is useful for other vouchers on Amex Reward Multiplier where you earn 5x MR points.

If I apply for mrcc then is it a separate card or shares limit like axis? Also, what's the best way for redemption of amex points. Not looking @ travel/hotel since axis has been plentiful.
