Devaluation Amex Rewards Multiplier -AmazonPay Limit - Devalued further?

As you all know, recently monthly Amex Reward Multiplier limit for AmazonPay vouchers was reduced from 25k to 10k per mobile number.

Now it seems they have further reduced the number of vouchers you can purchase by mapping the card number too.

As confirmed by Amex Gyftr CC, they have started mapping the card number to the mobile number you use to purchase the gvs, hence you will be able to use the card only once. (The worst thing is you would have to do trial and error about which number has which card mapped).
They said the portal might let you use it for another account rarely but generally it won't.

It wont let you buy Apay vouchers from the same card even when using a different mobile number.
Tried yesterday, the txn got failed after entering the OTP, amt not deducted. But in some cases the amt has been deducted and has taken 7-8 days for refund.
Also it has mentioned by someone in another thread:

If they keep doing things like these, the way they have on-boarded so many customers in the past few months, the same way customers will start de-boarding them.🥸

Also, when are the accelerated rewards for Amex are credited? Is it instant.

Anything on Gyftr via Rewards Multiplier is accelerated based on your card. Gold gives 5x, MRCC gives 2x, etc. And its always instant on transaction settlement.

Yes it does...
On MRCC it gives 2x points
On Gold card it gives 5x points

I just received my MRCC card. I am trying to buy an amazon gift card from Amex Gyftr but the Proceed to Pay button is greyed out and not clickable. Anyone else facing this issue?

Edit: My bad. Didnt realize the CVV is the four digit number on the front.

This is the only thing everybody is buying using American express Cards.

You will get 16.66--2.95=13.71% return if you buy Amazon pay using Infinia or DCB on HDFC smart buy 5x

Its the same every month of 1st. Lot of vouchers being used. Wait for a day or next morning it will be there. This is quite common at starting of the month.

So guess the trick is to keep checking often or load up when in stock!

What about the mobile number limit? Yesterday when I bought AP GC it was mandatory to put in mobile no as well as email (before this email was optional). Anyone else face this ?

It is 10k for Amazon pay. My problem is I have both MRCC and Platinum Travel. It allows me to buy 10k in total not 10k each on both cards. As soon I login and add to cart before I can select card to pay it says 10k limit reached. I thought it was per card.

You need to use a different mobile handset and mobile number to login

Just use a different mobile number in incognito mode, you are good to go.

Amex gyftr is now offering only 250/- and 500/- denomination vouchers for Amazon pay ….making it even more difficult to us. I had to buy 8 vouchers of 500/- value to add 4000/- to my Amazon pay
