I somehow misread the comment from BVC, apologies for the same
I couldn't find one, it would be great to have one. If no one does, I will start one a few months after I get the card and have explored is a little.
I more question if someone can help. I referred my wife for Plat Travel with increased bonus of 12k (I think). If I upgrade now, will I lose the referral bonus?
Also will my current points convert to Plat charge or I must use them before I upgrade

Is it mandatory to activate the upgraded charge card from travel within 37 days of receiving it?
Referral points have posted in my account so the first question is invalid now, can someone please help with the second part below?

I’m considering upgrading my Plat Travel to the Plat Charge card under the 1,50,000 MR upgrade offer and would love to get your advice on a few points. Here are my main questions:

I’m considering upgrading my Plat Travel to the Plat Charge card under the 1,50,000 MR upgrade offer and would love to get your advice on a few points. Here are my main questions:
- If I spend 4L on my Plat Travel card before the 28th of February deadline (offer expiry), will I receive the points as per the Plat Travel card’s earning structure?
- Once I’ve received the points from the 4L spend, can I upgrade to the Plat Charge card and merge the total MR points from both cards?
- After completing the first year with the Plat Charge card, is it possible to downgrade back to the Plat Travel card or do I have to cancel?
- Alternatively, upon upgrading, will Plat Travel remain open along with Plat Charge? If yes, then can I parallel-spend on both to do the 1,50,000 bonus for charge & 4,00,000 for travel, and then close the charge after 1st year and retain all points in travel?

Offer stands upto 31st jan, card process takes time so if onboarded before 31st jan then fine or else not possible, process of upgrade is not simple. Once you given consent, amex takes there time in contacting you once done then have to do application fill up and then vkyc and then subject to approval and then on boarded once your account opens for charge than as per previously written mail to amex in selection then only 50k spend in 2 months from account opening eligible for 1.5l points so ....
Thanks for your response. My offer is valid until 28th Feb and as such I considered the aforementioned plan. Could you please shed some light on some of my questions? Mainly, I want to know how upgrading will impact my Plat Travel as I'm yet to hit the 4L threshold for this cardmember year.
