i recently got this card only for the 0 forex and worked really well for me during my trips to Italy amd thailand. customer care was very heklpful for my forex charge refunds so try that if you have queries. The 15000 spends to unlock 3% valueback was news to me as well but i was able to meet the threshold easily, even tho it should be called out upfront. i rec'd my welcome vouchers right after 1st bill and redemption was easy too. i am assuming eligibilty check is when the cibil score is pulled like other cards, not sure if 2nd federal card is allowed now but its a good starter card if you want to try it out for a year

To get 3% cashback/return on 20 top brands, a card holder needs to spend more than 15k in a statement cycle. This is a hidden condition. I raised closure request of this card when I saw this condition to earn 3% return

I put 20K in my Fi account to use as a spends account. Might get this card for the welcome vouchers and simply swipe it everywhere as a spends card for the same amount of money zero forex and lounge access is a bonus

annual charges is 2000 + 18 percent gst = 2360 . some banks charge this amount and later give back just the 2000 as waiver not returning the gst amount of 360

I just got a waiver on my SBI Cashback Credit card for achieving spend-based criteria. Both Annual fee as well as GST is waived off.

I think 100 points is worth Rs 3. So they claim 3% reward rate. Since on top brands, they give 100 points for 100 spent [as per their website]
Its good for all online spends- flipkart, amazon, bigbasket, makemytrip etc.

No return is 2%
but 5x on the top 3 brands which makes it 10%

but you will get only brand vouchers which must be discounted by at least 10%.
so effectively the reward system is worthless
