Any pro tips for Axis bank limit increase?

Hello all, I’ve been using Axis ace card with 3L limit from last 2 years. This limit was offered by first time itself and after that I’ve applied Magnus and atlas and using both with same limit sharing. I got atlas card just few days back. I’ve Apay icici card with 5L and Onecard with 3.7. Apay is very old card. can anyone have tips how I can increase my limit in Axis bank cards. Like if anyone have tried using C2C card limit match method. Is Axis accepting that?

thanks for the response.
Do you have any idea about the minimum or base limit of Samsung Infinite card?
I think recently they changed rules it seems . Before they used to give Magnus for 4 or 5 L..
I read somewhere it’s now for 10L..

Please ask always believe yourself user.. or something like that(his username) . He processes axis c2c

Limit enhancement should be taken ONLY if it is offered by the bank.
don't apply for it manually to avoid a CIBIL hit.

that option of paying extra money is always there for every credit card in India
Help me understand, what tragedy happens, if there is one additional enquiry in CIBIL.

The impact happens only when you are paying only mininum due or defaulting even on min due, and then enquiry happens, then score dips. Not bcoz of enquiry per se, but due to you having unpaid dues.
As long as someone is paying full amount every month on every card, there is no impact on CIBIL score for any enquiry.

@DocFixIt If you are paying full amount every month on every card, and your limit is less than 30% of your annual income, then go ahead and submit salary slip & bank statement to get LE.

Yes & no

Yes there is no impact of cibil inquiry on score

But
There is impact on cibil if u do too many inquiry within short span of time.

There is so much of fear mongering among members here about CIBIL enquiry that it's appalling TBH.

Those who are financially responsible, shouldn't worry about CIBIL enquiries, PERIOD.
Even if it goes down by 2-5 points, it will recover or sometimes increase after payment info is tallied by 5th of next month.

Ya true that

Yesterday I noticed by CIBIL score dropped from 790 to 753!! No late payments (never), not even an enquiry in the past 6 months! 😢

I've been using Axis cards for the past 9 months and regularly spend 1-1.5 lakhs per month. So at some times of the month my total outstanding (billed+unbilled) can reach upto 3L and another 50K thereabouts on other cards. My CL is 6L. I think my score dropped because of credit utilization then.

Axis never offered me any limit enhancement. How do I get it? And how can I get the score back because I am planning to apply for a home loan sometime this year.

Regular high expenses may be the reason behind that..

Simple ways to increase your limit is by paying more than the total due on your credit card.
Only you will not get interest on the excess payment.
Hi, could you please tell me if I got this correct.
Assuming the scenario my limit is 1lac and my bill is 40k, you suggest I pay 48-50k? Is that correct? That way I will have a negative balance to my credit. Could you please explain the logic that is behind this? I read the entire thread but it's still very confusing. I use up the negative balance in the next month but I dont understand what logic is there. I will try it, definitely worth a try. But I would be more motivated if I knew the logic. Thanks.

You don't need to pay extra unless you want to do a big spend.
Pay 39900 before statement generation date to get a bill of 100!

I applied for a LE, i was given a limit of 15k from last 2 years but then after giving salary slip and also attached APAY statement showing 5.4L limit. Within a day I got a LE to 4.2L. Checked cibil and yes I got a hit but then disputed enquiry in CIBIL website got it removed within 3days. Till now everything seemed happy happy but then my junior in office after listening to my success story tampered her salary slip and got a LE from 15k to 5.2L my heart broke❤️‍🩹. And then she did the same with other bank cards and got succeeded everywhere. When asked will u not face anything sort of legal action she replied my father is a senior officer in Home ministry🥺🫠
