Anyone opened BOB BRO Account recently?

Anyone opened the newly launched BOB BRO account recently? The account has many free perks and definitely features as a lucrative offer for students.
However though they said free Rupay Platinum DC for life, still charged a issuance charges of ₹354. Currently having a dispute with their grievance cell. Anybody here faced the same situation?

NO. For bro account issuance and renewal fee is not there, but annual fee is there bro. I thought you were discussing about bob bro that having annual fee

for BOB LITE account
sms are chargable monthly
DC is chargable when SAID amount is not maintained
if maintained DC also free for that year, if you maintain LIFE long that amount that card will be free for life

yes so many are facing the same but so mant Fee was REFUNDED By branch or Regional Office after complaint,

it depends on how you opened the account.

I am not confusing others. I got the information from branch. And also someone in this group already informed here with screenshot that bob bro has annual fee. Renewal fee something different from annual fee. Renewal means card get renewed after expiry. Someone already posted with the chat screenshot with the customer care also

your source cannot be taken into validation, but I should agree with you when you seen such posts with person chat with bank official,
see the bank personal and chat support agents dont upgrade.
In my case the branches dont even know those accounts when bob announced.
I opened 3 LITE accounts and 1 bro account in my family.

thats why someone got confused and posted, you got confused..
always never believe the persons who are typing here,just aceept their knowledge .

ALWAYS the Final check is with PRODUCT MITC as per website, banks cant charge beyond that,
but sometimes they debit--- like for some persons issuance charges happen when the product is new, now no one is complaining that.
they may do knowingly or technical glitch we cant say, but since MITC is final we can complaint and get wavier max

- Renewal fee something different from annual fee. Renewal means card get renewed after expiry. Someone already posted with the chat screenshot with the customer care also.
Techincally you are correct in normal language, In internal CBS terms , Renewal Fee means Annual FEE only , when the card gets expired basing on the CBS command 1-2 months prior you will receive the card, NO BANK HAS RIGHT TO CHARGE ON DEBIT CARD WHICH COMES AFTER EXPIRY as issuance FEE.

I opened Bob bro account in nov offline
It was just 2 mins process and got passbook instantly
You can open online as well

Regarding debit card they said it will delivered in 20 days
I got after complaining to their website

No issuance or annual charges will be deducted
It's lifetime free

And account will be like that life time no conversion nothing
