Anyone opened BOB BRO Account recently?

Dear TFFam,
Anyone opened the newly launched BOB BRO account recently? The account has many free perks and definitely features as a lucrative offer for students.
However though they said free Rupay Platinum DC for life, still charged a issuance charges of ₹354. Currently having a dispute with their grievance cell. Anybody here faced the same situation?

Seems you didn't read the recent replies of this thread, Praful. Once any account is opened against your CIF—whether active or closed—you can't open the BOB Lite account anymore.

1 virtual Rupay Plat DC

Both would be free (Nil Issuance+Annual fees) if you maintain 3k per quarter for a urban branch.

How much are fees for card if you don't maintain? Is virtual card also charged? I don't really care about physical card.

If not maintained physical card ₹300+GST , but if maintained 3k for urban branch like I did , no charge issuance or annual nothing.
Physical card given is NCMC Rupay Platinum (can be used as metro Card), but virtual is equally useful if u don't need airport / railway 1 per quarter free lounge access.

Easemytrip is not available in bro account via app, it will show account not eligible or something like this error. I have advantage 2k maintenance and my younger brother has bro account , in his app when i tried it threw this error.

Sms charges are there. Based on no of sms

Remaining are as per brouchure .and website.

Some people are not getring dc in kit
Some people dc is not working for online transaction
Some people dc itself is not working

You need to make a complaint for that.


THere is absolute nothing bad about that account. 10000% useful.
If you want dc free just maintain 2000 to 3000 as per location

Best zero balance ac in these days.

The bob Lite account related RUPAY PLATINUM debit card is chargable when said balance is not maintained

If you maintain balance it is LTF for that year.. (see T&C)

all SMS ALERTS AND DC Are FREE FOR LIFE without any condition ( until you are in same scheme code)

for BOB LITE account
sms are chargable monthly
DC is chargable when SAID amount is not maintained
if maintained DC also free for that year, if you maintain LIFE long that amount that card will be free for life
