Following the thread. I have a Vi number that I am using, but is issued in the name of my friend's father (had it issued about 7-8 years back while in college). Now trying to transfer the ownership to my name. Vi customer care in my place have asked the current owner to initiate the transfer request with an NOC. Will update if this works.
