They are asking for more permissions and giving warnings.Looks like HDFC Ergo is regretting its decision by launching this program and seems people are completing 15k steps and added a new warning as below. Not sure if genuine users like us will be impacted 🤔
How we will prove that we are not cheating!!!

Are those permission are mandatory? They are asking for more permissions and giving warnings.
Didn’t take the risk and gave the permission as i walk regularly even before buying the watch i used to walk so i was not worried about giving permissionAre those permission are mandatory?
This is true. I have also experienced the same if you ride on two wheelers but it shouldn’t as far as you have good amount of total distance and calories. For me weights 85, my 15k steps competes with 10.5km and around 800 calories.Today i was driving and road was broken and patchy and watch counted some steps now I’m not sure if hdfc will make issue during claim
Giving permission for heart rate, sleep data respiratory breath is bit concerningDidn’t take the risk and gave the permission as i walk regularly even before buying the watch i used to walk so i was not worried about giving permission
I’m 185cm and weigh 76KG. I used to weigh 93KG and by walking I have lost 17KG.This is true. True it’s fishy why they need so much information. They can simply rely on apple for steps and maximum active energy. Rest are unnecessaryGiving permission for heart rate, sleep data respiratory breath is bit concerning
And at the starting of the policy, they did not required all this thing, but now there making this mandatory, then it’s not good thing
That’s impressive. I am a bit concerned since most need 12km for 15k steps but for me it’s 10km. Not sure if Apple calculates less and hdfc might flagI’m 185cm and weigh 76KG. I used to weigh 93KG and by walking I have lost 17KG.
It takes me around 12KM to complete 15K but my daily steps ranges between 20-30K.
Have you updated your HDFC Here app? That’s impressive. I am a bit concerned since most need 12km for 15k steps but for me it’s 10km. Not sure if Apple calculates less and hdfc might flag

I was also asked to give permission before accessing the India gets moving page. This is actually concerning. Why do they want how much do I sleep or my respiratory rate?View attachment 79011
List of permissions
Respiratory rate is understandable as respiratory rate goes up during walking and workouts but sleep is totally unrelatedI was also asked to give permission before accessing the India gets moving page. This is actually concerning. Why do they want how much do I sleep or my respiratory rate?
