Are lost card shown as closed account in CIBIL?

Hi Guys

I always had just one SBI Credit Card that I took 8 years ago. When I lost my card a couple of years ago, I asked SBI for replacement. I dont always check my CIBIL score. But when I checked it today I found that there are two SBI CC reported in my CIBIL one open and one closed both have same limit but different number.

So I want to confirm if this is an error or just a standard procedure.

Don't have SBI CC.

With Axis, the lost card and the new one used to be on the same account number (even though the card number changed). Not sure about the current policy. Happened over 5 years ago.

Banks may change policies at times according to RBI guidelines or due to own / internal policy changes.
