AU Bank application rejected, what to do now?

TF Select
AU bank has rejected my credit card application stating some "Internal Reason". However, I think it has happened because of wrong office address which is written in my application (The address is not wrong, it's just that they picked my old office address from CIBIL and didn't bother to ask me for the updated address).
Now they are asking me to wait for 6 more months.

Is there anything I can do? Do I need to wait for 6 months more?

I applied for AU Ixigo CC via Ixigo app. I'm self employed professional. Permanent aadhaar address is a Bangalore PIN code. They did office verification (also Bangalore PIN code), I wasn't in office on that date but receptionist told me. No one came or called for home verification. They have rejected after vKYC and office verification:

Dear XXXX,

Thank you for your interest in the AU Credit Card.

Regrettably, your AU Credit Card application has been declined as policy and eligibility norms are not met.

Please note that the criteria mentioned above do not necessarily determine your overall creditworthiness.

We look forward to offering you the best of our services in the future.

Sincerely,

Your AU Small Finance Bank Team

Is there any way to have them reconsider?

tell them you have cctvs outside your house and no one came. they will reinitiate verification process...

do you have any previous relationship with them?

Do they do home verification if communication address is same as Aadhaar address? I also did vKYC from same address, so location is captured online.

No relation with AU at all.

AU 99% does home and/or office verification. (be it real or only on papers)
So someone from AU called out of the blue and asked me about my employment details. Me being self-employed, she asked if I can share my GSTIN or ITR for 'proof of self employment' whatever that means.

I don't have GST. She asked me to email ITR to <number>@aubank.in email ID so she can reconsider the application and get it approved.

Not sure if this is a phishing attempt or not, because @aubank.in email ID looks legit I guess.

Any particular reason for applying AU card?, apart from free lounge access, I don't think there is anything of utility. Please correct if I am wrong
