AU Bank offers lifetime free credit card to government employees & a few MNC employees. If you work for a company that comes under AU Bank's lifetime free credit card list, you can get a lifetime free credit card from AU Bank (Any credit card/Unconditional LTF).

How to get AU Bank credit card lifetime (Steps) —
1. Apply for any AU bank credit card (All AU bank cards are being issued LTF to Gov & a few MNC employees - check LTF list).

My company name is in the drop down list. My income and credit score criteria are easily met (even hdfc is offering me preapproved dcb). Location: Mumbai. When my application was left half filled, their employees contacted me to complete the application and assured me LTF, so I completed the application and did video KYC.
Now when I emailed them to check for status, they say that it is rejected because internal parameters were not met. they didn't even ask for my income documents.
I feel cheated as they now have all my details and personal information which they didn't need to have. if internal parameters were not being met, they how did they show me which cards i was eligible for, after i input out my phone number?

1) Is there any way i could escalate this to the banking ombudsman regarding data collection and retention malpractices?
2) would my credit score be affected for unreasonable rejection by a bank like Au Bank?

1. No, they collected your with your consent
2. Not really... but depends on many other factors
you can request bank to reconsider your application... that's it.

Ok sir. Actually i have applied with local branch help. After 6 days no updates so asked him. He told me that vkyc failed in audit so today i did it again. And told him to check it that vkyc approved or not. Let’s see he say.

My card application is "Under Review" for 10 days. If I call the customer care number, I can't reach anyone, as I don't have a card. My mails are not being answered. AU Bank Twitter Handle is asking me to reach them via Email.
Any help ?

My application is still Under review from 15 August 2022. I emailed them and they told me to submit the documents in the nearest branch, even though VKYC was succesful.

I think you’re facing same problem which i faced. Actually my vkyc was done successful but didn’t go through. Hame vo call cut ho jata hai fir bhi 2-3 steps rehte hai review aur sab vo complete karna rehta hai. Me ne 3 bar vkyc kiya hai tab jake esa laga k kuch to galat kar raha hu. Ek baar try karo. Site pe jake apply karo registered no se agar vaaps vkyc k options aate hai to success nahi hua hai. Mera success hone k baar hi aage badha

Kya tumhara matlab hai ki doobara se apply karne ke liye ? Isse toh ek aur CIBIL enquiry aa jayega.
And btw, mera toh VKYC Complete ho gaya thaa. Koi disconnection nahi hua thaa.
