Axis Ace Offer on Gpay declined

Today I received an offer for Axis Ace Credit Card on Gpay but when I tried to apply, I received a message that since I am an existing customer of Axis Bank, I can only apply through bank website...
And then the offer became unavailable for me...

Basically hdfc online portal is worthless. Wait a while it will get updated. Generally in my case once you apply for any hdfc card someone will call you for verification and also inform you regarding annual charges etc and will take your final confirmation. After that it took hardly 2 to 3 days to get approval then finally getting card. I will suggest don't depend on their online portal but instead get info from customer care. They were comparatively helpful to me during application time.

My axis Ace application status is still stuck at eligibility check initiated from 13th March and today again a guy came for address verification 😂😂. That guy seems more frustrated than me that he need to come to my address every time I applied for axis card😂😂. I don't get it why they are doing this repeated address verification when my address is already present in their record( from my last cancelled fk axis card)

Gpay first offered me Ace and then denied bcoz I already had another Axis card... So I wrote to Axis and they took my application physically... It's been almost 2 weeks.. waiting for further update...
Axis being Axis...
Whereas in the last week alone, I applied for IndusInd Eazydiner and Amex Gold.. both approved and delivered...
Such strange is this banking world 😜😜
