Does this work for payment to any merchant?

Or only those with PP merchant QR and who have wallet payments specifically enabled?
Mostly nowadays phonepe merchants are there in market and 99 percent of them allows payment through gift cards. In my area almost 60 percent qrs accept phonepe gift card and if you know snapay then you can do that trick also😁.

It is hard to liquidate phone pe gv and already getting the GV at 4% Discount
Can also purchase flip kart gift card and Amazon gift card from their apps as well as from phonepe or other merchants which you know they provide discount on top of card cash back like magicpin or phonepe there also this card gives five percent cash back + also count in 25000 and 60000 spend monthly and quarterly respectively. This way no headache of purchasing gift cards and checking MCC using credit cards like SBI cash back and most users who don't have that card.

If we purchase gift card from flipkart, will we get 5% weekend cashback from liberty DC?
