Hye guys, I just checked Liberty account t&c and found that only 15 transactions free per month. Is this recently implement by Axis bank only on all savings account type? or was it there always? Never noticed this before. Are other banks also apply same 15T/mo rule like HDFC, ICICI?

Check it. They have mentioned it unclearly. Are this 15 transaction includes transfer form mobile & net banking.

I don't think hdfc & icici have this kinda rule.

Now, I understand why your txns are not fetching 5%

Axis chuu excluded Departmemtal Store MCC-5311.

This MCC is the Actual and Main MCC for Departmental Stores and Axis Chuu Excluded it and Included other Similar MCCs on the name of Departmental Stores which are not used commonly by Acquiring Bank for a Departmental Store.

So Swipe your Liberty DC only at that POS where One Card is reflecting Groceries.

Even in the transactions that are reflected as grocery on Onecard. I have not received cashback for the same, will retry and confirm it for July month. Basically I know a grocery/pos merchant near me. I pay him 1% for debit card and get flat 4% back !

Main Groceries MCC is 5411, So I thought it would be same in your case also and this MCC is eligible for 5%

It is possible merchant POS is tagged with any other Similar MCC which One Card is considering under Groceries but Axis Excluded it.
