Your replies make you look more like a CA than a doc 😛
Banking officials are actually idiots if you ask them about such intricasies. It just via forums like this that we get to know what to do....

Couldn't agree more. Sometimes he appears pro-axis. Sometimes anti-axis.
But he is always in favour of how you can accumulate maximum rewards percentage which are actually useful according to your lifestyle.

Haha. I’m aware. But there is no doubt that it has the highest rewards in the industry. So I’m just trying if I can get one. But now I’m afraid. I’m keeping my legs on 2 boats.
One is M4B with ridiculously high rewards are worst customer service. Other is Amex Platinum Charge card with worst reward points and best customer service.

Amex service has gone to dogs. It no longer a premium customer care. Unless you are throwing lakhs at Amex they just dont care even if you are paying 70k annual fee. Currently HDFC is best in CC business. I had all 3 (Amex plat, MB and Infinia) - Cancelled Amex Plat as MB and Infinia are far superior products with infinia even having better service that Amex. (they once called me multiple times at 3.30 Am to report fraud transaction
