I have paid Axis Flipkart credit card with a good limit but as soon as I try to do a big ticket txn, my transaction gets declined. It has been happeing on all offline and online transactions greater than 10000rs. I complained to customer care but no satisfactory response. I have renewal date in 2 weeks and I want to swap it with Airtel/Ace/Vistara card. I have thought of calling customer care and asking them to swap my card else close it. But I dont want to close this card as I have high limit from Axis bank and dont know next time they will again give this much limit or not. Any suggestions on how to get Flipkart card swapped with any mentioned card. I dont have any other relationship with Axis bank..

Sure, I will wait as long as I can (which is 23rd June) giving one week time before the Airtel Thanks app offer expires for approval process.
Don't apply bro.
It's way to close.
I applied Axis ACE in December 2022 and then again Axis Airtel in May 2023.
Both were approved with good limits (2nd one was more).

@RajBlr He was the victim of rejection from Axis by applying two cards within 3 months cooling.

Damn, I guess I gave to miss out the "no joining fee" offer.

I met the axis bank agents at my office last week, they said you can try after paying you first billed amount.

Are Axis will keep increasing FYF offer.
I was too in FOMO since Jan 2023 the first time Axis introduced FYF offer in Jan, but I patiently waited and see the offer is still there in June also. For sure it will get extended.

Were you successful in this? I'd be quite surprised if it worked for you, because my own c2c offline application was approved for only 50k (from 3L)! And that for a Burgundy customer with a very good credit rating too!
I applied Axis credit card c2c for my Father with his ICICI platinum credit card with 4.2 lac limit. His card got approved within 2 days and he got 4.2lac limit in Axis credit card. Basically I wanted to say is that there are very high chances they give same limit.

I have Amazon Pay ICICI card at 2.46L limit
SBI Simply save card at 2.60L limit.
Applied Flipkart axis bank card 3 weeks ago and received it with 1.56L limit.

My credit score as per Paytm is 880
CIBIL as per GPay is 797
CRIF as per CRED is 775 when applying.

What's the catch here if you have a card already or don't hold a card already?
There is no catch, so to speak. When the conventional method of applying for a credit card doesn't work, such as when you are unable to provide income proof or your ITR is not high, many banks accept applications on a Card-to-Card basis. Typically, they match the credit limit of the card you submit for the application. However, there are exceptions, like HDFC, known for providing lower limits even if you submit a card statement with a limit of, let's say, 5L. They might only offer you 43k 😂. Some banks also process applications through online Card-to-Card systems. For example, AU Bank through their Swipe Up Portal, IDFC Bank to a certain extent, and even BOB. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Now it's clear. Thanks!
