Axis Magnus - 4 times rejected, now card is pre-approved in app

Hi! I was trying to get magnus since last 1 month and applied online and every time my application was declined. However strangely, today i saw magnus card in pre-approved card list on axis app. I applied and a new card is showing in my app now with same limit as my vistara infinite card. The app now says we shall deliver the physical card shortly.

I am really perplexed why the declined 4 times and then automatically pre-approved the card.

Try applying directly through there website, select self employed with 18 lakh income.. Mine was approved like this only.. got limit of 3 lakh before applying other card limit was 85k. No documents were aksing just got approved in 2 days.. Try your luck.

I did on the 14th. Nothing for several days. Then one guy contacted asking for itr copy over WhatsApp. Haven't heard back since. Contacted axis support. They have no record of the application. Despite the website cc tracker showing...

That's when I gave up and started looking at the pre approved route.

So finally, the day has arrived when I have Magnus in my hands. It's a bit heavy in hands. Also got priority pass in the same box. Immediately activated it on the axis app and there too it was a very different experience. App showing all info on welcome benefit, airport meet and greet etc. Must say the overall experience looks good. Already activated the 3x edge rewards offer as well.

One question for fellow users of the card - Will I be eligible for 25k points from November or october itself?

November.. and also if you want to redeem your welcome benefit and don't want to wait for there message call the number in back of your card and ask them to give you link through which you can withdraw your welcome benefit.. then you can redeem instantly..

Actually I opened a Burgundy Account with Axis recently to get Magnus Complimentary my RM has assured me that he will push but I have low hopes.

Yes, 5L has to be there in the account at any point of time. If you take it out for few days its fine there's no penalty but of the balance goes below 5 L in any quarter they will downgrade the account. And you can put this 5L as FD as well. So instead of parking all the money in one bank you can use 5-10L to open premium accounts in other banks.

Mine is not Burgundy Private. It's simple Burgundy with 5L initial funding for opening. Burgundy Private needs TRV of 5cr (which I don't have right now 😛)
