Axis magnus post 1.5L is there an upper limit for the accelerated points(35/200) for the spends above 1.5L?

I just bought a car (Volkswagen Virtus) and I paid around 14L with my magnus cardHDFC DCB & rest with my . According to the new scheme I should be receiving 9000+218750=227750 RPs
I have so far recieved round 80k RPs. I paid around 37k extra to the dealer as they would not absorb this MDR.
I have called Magnus support three times. Two guys said there is no upper limit for the accelerated points and they will be credited in next 45 days. One guy however said that once the 3L mark is reached the reward rate will be back to 12/200. Do u guys have any information about this?
I still have many spendings coming up and I would use my magnus for the same if there is no upper limit. I searched the Axis website & could not find any such upper limit...

There is no upper limit as of now, that we know of. All the new documents uploaded on their official website don’t mention any upper limit, so just hope for the best. I myself have exceeded 1.5 lac by 6 lacs this month. We would only know this after 45 days, when they credit the remaining 23/200 on the amount exceeding 1.5 lacs.

Well they agreed to accept card ony after I agreed to pay the MDR. Moreover they are nice people. they have been very supportive

the rule is a rule
if you want go ahead with it
there is a high chance you can get mdr back

The 45 day period is kind of indicative as of now. I got my accelerated rewards after about 70 days.

Should come on M+3 basis, just like Grabdeals and Giftedge
So all spends over 1.5 lacs in May will get you 23 on 200 accelerated points in August

Actually as per their new devaluation there’s no cap for higher ERs i mean 35ER scenarios but still since its axis anything may get change anytime 😃

first 12/200 u should get in 4th or 5th day of the. Balance 23/200 for 1.5l in sept

On other note, yes, they do not accept credit card for car payment, unless you pay the MDR charges of 2%. Never knew that you can complain to RBI for this.
