Axis Miles and more offer

IMG_9710.png
Those who are getting the card might have to go back and forth with Lufthansa for the additional 30k miles. 15k miles will be credited either in the same or next billing cycle after first successful transaction on the card. Also to avoid further complications, first create your Miles & more travel ID and then mention the travel ID while applying for the card.

The travel ID is called MMID which is generated by Axis Bank after 5 working days of card activation.

we can create a login ID, but there is no option to mention this login ID or travel ID on the miles and more application form done offline through the agent

Yea... Hoping Miles and More would help us in getting this cc and M&M account linked ... without any issues... !! !

I called bank customer care today (11/9) and the executive told me that he can see the MMID as blank on his system. He told me it is bank fault and they should have created MMID at the time of issuance of card. He then blocked my card and is issuing a new card.

There is so much confusion regarding linking of CC with MMID.

How do we approach Lufthansa for the bonus 30k miles? The executives tending to the Miles & More helpline are not properly aware of how the bonus 30k points would be credited to our travel ID. They are saying that Axis would create a new Travel ID and credit 30K points to the M&M FFP and the rest 15k points would be credited to the card account. While the folks at Axis Premium support told me something completely different. This seems like too much work, so I'm not going to apply now.

too much hassle man. have already applied for myself two days back, didnt create or mentioned MNM id. I thought it will create duplication or issue at axis's end.

was going to apply for wife today, but this looks like too much hassle. Axis should've handled the whole process better

I plan to visit at around the same time next year. That's primarily why I showed interest in this card. 50k+ worth of flights in exchange for 11180 JF was too good to pass up. Even without the 30k bonus, you can get a lot of internal EU flights for a 15k round trip(some even in J) if redeemed through Mileage Bargains. But I've planned the itinerary keeping in mind the Eurail pass, so I won't be able to benefit from this.

I don't think there are any other cards available in the market that will give you similar value except for the Vistara co-branded cards. But the vouchers can only be redeemed on domestic flights.

11800 joining fees.
also don't buy the Eurail pass, it is not worth it. Swiss pass maybe worth it, otherwise direct tickets on each country's National train website are much cheaper 3 months in advance

That depends on the itinerary and routes. Eurail pass in my case is absolutely worth it. I have put up a dedicated thread about who can benefit from a Eurail pass already on the forum. Swiss passes are only applicable for Switzerland and Eurail passes cover the majority of trains in the Schengen region. If you're not touching the Jungfrau region or not visiting any mountain pass, a Eurail pass will get you by just fine to all the cities/towns in Switzerland. In fact, Switzerland is the best country in all of Europe to use the Eurail pass.

I agree this would be 10-20% cheaper than using a Eurail pass, but keep in mind, the train fares in Europe are dynamic. If you miss any connection or if any train gets cancelled, booking a seat last minute will cost a BOMB. A seat on one of the trains plying popular routes such as Paris-Amsterdam(on Eurostar) can be got for €35 if booked well in advance. Now a last minute booking for the same can set you back anywhere between €100-200, or even more based on the season or unavailability of second-class seats. That's close to 25% of the cost of the Eurail pass. So I hope this is reason enough to justify why a Eurail pass makes sense.

I applied this card offline today. There was option to provide MMID in his tab. I had the MMID already which I provided while filling up form offline. Let us see how it works now.

From where you got ur MMID ? Do we need to request Axis or it will be generated by default for all ?

Any idea.... what might happen if we miss this.... hope its not going to be duplicated login in Miles n More side... : (

He must have already had a miles and more membership id, but for those who haven't , axis will generate one for you

MMID means Miles and More ID. I registered on miles and more and got the membership ID. Same I used in application form. It is 15 digit numerical ID.

Is it valid if we apply through offline mode. ? And is it important to do the transaction before 30 november or simply applying before 30 november is enough ?

Hey @drsel,
I applied today in offline with agent... World select variant...

So is it like, after the first transaction, the joining fee will be added to the first month bill ? For Amex Gold, it was like this... added in the 1st month bill...

Is the 60days timeline.... confirmed anywhere ?

Just saw this thread. Was planning to apply. However see below clause on MM website.

"Apply for your Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card by 30.11.2023, and make at least one qualifying purchase."

Qualifying transaction needs to be completed before 30 Nov. So not sure how we can do that as card will mostly be issued after 30 Nov.
